I booked this b n b for the price as we were only staying one night Unfortunately I overlooked the bad reviews or I wouldn’t have bothered. I rang and spoke to the host prior to our arrival to confirm there would be a parking space and was assured there would be. However he didn’t mention that it would be a quarter of a mile up the road! Although he was very friendly and showed us where everything was our bed wasn’t even made up even though we arrived after 4pm. I watched him, even helped to make the bed and couldn’t help noticing the dirty torn quilt. The bed itself was not good. The room and indeed everywhere we saw was shabby and grubby. The kitchen was overcrowded and the breakfast stuff all laid out amongs other things on a work top. We were offered freezer meals for the evening which were taken out ready for us to microwave. Our shared shower room/ toilet was off the kitchen and very tiny hardly room to move. The only tv available for us was also in the kitchen on a worktop and there was one small shabby sofa squeezed in the doorway to sit on to watch. We sat in our room for a few minutes then decided to leave to find better accommodation. I appreciate that we couldn’t expect the “ritz” for £46 a night but we did expect cleanliness. The whole place needs a thorough overhaul and massive clean. I have mentioned my concerns to booking.com who are looking into this.

Wasn't pleased at all. The room was dirty and smelly. The bed wasn't made as if someone was sleeping there, pillows dirty and smelt like some had been smoking in the room. 1 bathroom to be shared by many. We left 5 minutes after getting there. They really need to do better. I was so disappointed

Did not stay. Did not feel safe, the cleanliness of the place was not up to scratch and there was one shared bathroom for 5 rooms. Host seemed nice, but continuously kept phoning throughout the day to see where we were.
