After a long walk, we came here for a pint and some food with our dog. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable when it came to the menu for recommendations and specials. My husband went for beef rib which was huge and just fell off the bone. I had the chicken supreme, which was really tender and full of flavour, the pub is a beautiful traditional cosy setting and just perfect on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend.

We walked here from Jeskyn's Park. Its a lovely place with views of the church and surrounded by countryside.

They had a newmenu today with small plates - the salt and pepper chicken was very good, had a bit of a kick without being overwhelming in spice. All of the veg sides are seasoned in complementary sauces, the tenderstem broccoli is particularly good.

There are dog water bowls you can fill and use in the garden and nice dog treats inside.

Overall a really lovely experience and yummy food!

Lovely food and environment for dining. Garden is lovely in the summer. Nice walk locally also. Service is usually good, but is sometimes a bit slow. My favourite place to eat in cobham

What a beautiful place I cannot recommend highly enough. Cant wait to return and introduce my friends. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. We were served by Sue who told us lots of information about the pub. We didn’t stay just had a drink but would definitely love to.

Great character and lovely staff, conveniently located for visiting Medway towns, particularly Rochester, from a rural setting.
Limited vegetarian options on the menu but they were very accommodating of the individual in our group with multiple food allergies (theres always one!!)
Would definitely recommend, its a rare treat to stay in such a beautifully preserved 17thC coaching inn

Wonderfully atmospheric Dickensian hostelry, with reasonably priced, good food, great drinks range, efficient and very friendly service, a varied and fun programme of various events, and a pleasant mix of visitors, tourists and locals. A credit to the excellent landlady and highly recommended.
