The Trivelles Hotel was a great find. We were made very welcome. The room was very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. I had 2 fantastic night's sleep! It was a great location for us as the train station was five minutes away and the walk over the bridge into Rochester was very nice. All in all would recommend this hotel and will stay again when I next come to Rochester. Thank you.

I had a wonderful stay at Trivelles Rochester Hotel! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was perfect, close to local attractions but still quiet and peaceful. I will definitely recommend.

Location was quite near to the Strood station, staffs were genuinely helpful, room was nice and cozy and clean, it had everything I needed in the room including heater, iron with board, dryer and kettle, tea/coffee with milk and good sized TV. Bed was comfortable with table and a good sofa chair. Toilet looked very clean.

Would love to stay here again. Definitely recommend.

A bit noisy when people next door walked or opened the common door but not too much.

During our recent stay at Trivelles Hotel Rochester, we experienced a level of hospitality and comfort that exceeded all expectations. First Impressions and Check-In
Upon arrival, we were greeted with genuine smiles. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the front desk staff offering helpful tips about the hotel amenities and nearby attractions. The lobby itself was a visual delight—elegantly designed with modern decor, yet cozy enough to feel inviting.

Our room was immaculate and tastefully decorated, blending modern aesthetics with subtle touches of local culture. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were of premium quality, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.

Staff and Service: A Class Apart
What truly sets Trivelles Hotel Rochester apart is its incredible team. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Whether it was housekeeping, or the front desk staff accommodating a late check-out, the service was flawless and heartfelt.

Having found arriving in Strood to be a bit of a shock to the system, we were delighted to find that there was indeed a reasonably priced carpark with ample parking right behind our hotel.

We were further delighted by the warm welcome that we received from Muhammad on reception. He truly could not have been nicer and more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was fresh and bright and our room was exactly as pictured in the information online.

The beds were firm and the bathroom was a really good size and equipped with a roomy shower and miniature toiletries. We were also spoilt by the lovely gentleman who came to change the towels and top up the tea and coffee supplies in our our room.

The television picture was a little erratic, we wondered if it was being affected by the train line across the road, but we were able to log into our netflix account directly on the tv and from that point on the picture quality was perfect.

All it all, we found the Trivelles Hotel to be a true oasis of care and calm in Strood.

We are unlikely to visit Strood again, however, if we did, we would 100% choose Trivelles Hotel as our place to stay.

A good nights sleep but rough around the edges.

The hotel looks and feels more like a hostel, it’s in a good location for a night out in Rochester with the train station across the road and free on street parking between 1800 and 1000.

The room was mostly clean minus the bathroom. Very strange smell in the room. A comfy bed but on the small size. Worth it for the cheap price so you really do get what you pay for. Would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in Strood. The hotel room was very comfortable and warm during a spell of very cold weather. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.
No complaints at all.

Very nice little hotel, 3 minutes from strood station,
Very catering, helpful and friendly staff,
Great breakfast options, and I asked for more soap and they brought more so very pleased.
The only small issue was that my room was ground floor and the ground although having a carpet, had a cold layer of air on it, and the windows didn't open and because the windows didn't have much if a view, the room was quite dark.
However at night, when curtains are closed the room had a great selection of lights that I could adjust to my liking, 3 warm reading lights that I can point in any direction, a blue led light strip across the bed and a main light, oh and not to mention the giant tv in the centre.
Room also had a bathtub so of-course I had o be and loved it 🙂
