Beds were comfortable, rooms clean but need touch ups, lots of parking and friendly staff.
Excellent water front view.
Beers good price, but found the food upper prices, that my allowance couldn't cover the decent mains (20 notes doesn't go far nowadays/not pubs issue)
Food that came out to tables looked amazing.
Great barstaff in the eve and again great in the morning for freshly cooked breakfast, rather than heat lamp drier food you find in other premier inns.
Would definitely stay here again and I imagine in the summer, you would struggle to get a room.
Well done

When passing this hotel on our way back from Maidstone we called in to see if they had a room for that night. Yes they had but would you believe it I was told I had to book it online or it would be more expensive!! Which meant I had to sit in the car park to book and pay for the room on my phone as the WiFi in reception was so weak I couldn't get a signal. That done we booked in and found the hotel must be one of the most basic Premier Inns. It was clean but very worn and dated. Word of warning if you intend to stay there in the winter there is only one panel heater in the room which of course hadn't been switched on so the room was very chilly and took sometime to heat up. No heating at all in the bathroom which isn't too good after a shower. Even though it was a double room only one set of towels had been supplied so had to visit reception again to ask for more. |We also paid for the 'meal deal' for the Beefeater restaurant next to the hotel. Food not brilliant at all, very greasy and basic. I asked if they had anything gluten free and was given a plastic folder with pages of allergy information. Being that I didn't have hours to study the complicated breakdown of the food on offer I just had to trust my own decisions. |I have stayed in a few Premier Inns and always thought the breakfasts were excellent. This ones layout seemed as though it was a temporary set up in the bar. You couldn't help yourself to coffee or tea etc as the machine was behind the bar. No plates, you were given a plate when visiting the very small buffet for hot food, well I say hot, I found the only thing hot was the plate I was given. |Very disappointed and I will not bother to stay there again even though it's a very pretty area.

Great location only couple negatives no staff on reception when arrived, even after pressing bell. Secondly meal deal was good value, but the meal in Malta Inn wasn't the best bit disappointing. Service great just poor food. Breakfast great and as much as you wanted. So overall ok

Nice place to stay, but avoid the Beefeater and walk 2 minutes up the road to the Village hotel, which has a much nicer restaurant. The Beefeater was awful downstairs, drab, food still left on tables, and floor and no sign of anyone clearing up. Looked the same as when I used to go there years ago before||I moved to Norfolk, terrible. Place needs a good refresh.

What a beautiful jewel in Kent!!! Idyllic setting, a true escape....
I cannot praise the staff highly enough! Nothing was too much trouble and we were encouraged to ask for any help over anything!! On our arrival, my sister and I were so excited to be celebrating my 60th birthday, and we were laughing and sharing with our reception team.. once in our room we had a tap on the door and were presented with a box of chocolates and a best wishes card!!! 😃 That was such a wonderful gesture , and made our stay magical!! Thank you to the hardworking, dedicated, empathetic team!!!✨

What a great place. Very polite staff and the room was very clean. I booked it to stay near town for Xmas party. A nice walk to the town along the river. Plenty of parking. Close to the motorway. Would definitely use again!

Warm friendly welcome on arrival from|Rachel - Hotel is functional and in a beautiful location with farm next door for the children , we would definitely stay again. Hotel does look a little|bit tired and could do with a refurb, hotel is clean and comfortable with unlimited tea & coffee - Wi-Fi was poor could do with some attention especially for those staying on business !

Ok stay but the hotel is looking tired with worn carpets and bathroom furniture, shower over bath not very good for older guests and is dated bathroom, also did not like the toilet tissue dispenser instead of toilet roll ... never had that in a hotel before! Staff were friendly at check-in and at the Beefeater next door where breakfast and evening meals are available at extra cost. Mobile signal not good but better when connecting to Hotel free Wifi. It was an ok stay, somewhere to put your head but was expensive tbh and not somewhere I would choose to stay again if I had to in the area
