My daughter had an interview locally, and I was looking for somewhere to sit and work for a few hours. The receptionist was extremely friendly and accommodating, and offered a space in the lounge, even though they were preparing for a wedding event later in the day. Another member of staff offered me a complimentary drink whilst I was working. The welcome received as a non guest was superb. I will definitely stay here if the need arises in the future.

Today me, my daughter and granddaughter went to the wicked afternoon tea. What a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly, warm and attentive. The food was gorgeous and excellent value for money. The room was beautifully decorated and you could tell how much thought had gone into making the event special for everyone. My granddaughter loved meeting a real life Elphaba too this made her day.I would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be returning.Thank you for a brilliant afternoon xxx😊

Food is absolutely stunning. Staff friendly and welcoming. Room in need of a little upgrade. Carpets need replacing. Mould on the bathroom tiles and bath mat. Room is far too dark for me. All week without WIFI was a major issue for me. Staff didn't seem bothered.

We booked this venue for our wedding and could not fault it at all. Rob made sure we were looked after and had a smooth sailing day. The venue is absolutely beautiful. The staff went above and beyond for us. The food was incredible and went down very well. All of our guests had an amazing day and commented on how lovely the hotel was. We are thrilled with our experience here and we would recommend anyone to visit or book an event.

Went out to hotel for Grill night (Friday) we both ordered steaks, different cuts and different cooks. The food was delivered quickly and was cooked to perfection, thank you Steve...(Chef). The Duty Manager Rob and server Tracey were very helpful and professional. I would recommend very highly.

Went to the Ashbourne Hotel for dinner with my family. Tracey was our server and she really made the experience so special! She was extremely attentive and made us feel right at home! So much that we are coming back again very soon! The food was delicious and came out quickly! Definitely worth going if you haven't before!

We had our wedding at the Ashbourne and it was amazing! From initial contact to the day everything ran smoothly. Rob is a legend!. The staff are friendly, the food amazing, the rooms are lovely. We can't fault at all! |Been to other events and for meals previously and always a great experience 😍

Three couples from different parts of the country met up here for a three night stay. The rooms are spacious, warm and comfortable. The deal offered by the hotel for February is generous and the staff are friendly and helpful.||The breakfasts offer a good choice of food - both buffet and hot. The evening meals are extraordinarily good and so we chose to 'eat in' for all three nights. And, if you do the same, we hope you are served by Tracey who is extremely helpful but also direct in that way we northerners like so much!
