I can't recommend this place enough! Jackie was a above and beyond host, very clean cosy room, great breakfast in the morning and all at a more than fair price. She suggested the local Viking Walk which was a great taste of the area.

Great little village with a very friendly shop and pub. If you're looking at checking out the Lincolnshire Wolds this is the place to come, close to Lincoln itself and Jackie was always there to answer any questions and give suggestions. 5/5, will be back again!

What a find this place is...!||Booking was easy and I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by Jackie. The room was very clean and tidy and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was offered with an en-suite, towels, TV, kettle with tea/coffee. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. If I had the time, I would have paid for seconds! The surroundings are beautiful, quite and within walking distance of local amenities. If you're going to Cadwell Pack race track, then this place is perfect as it's only a 10/15 minute drive away.||Thank you Jackie for making me feel very welcome and I will not hesitate to book again with you in the future.

Just spent a night at the Old School House. Jackie is lovely, really really accommodating, very helpful and you can tell in general she is just one of life's good people. The rooms are clean, comfortable and great to stay in. The home cooked breakfast was amazing too!! I met the family and the dogs in the morning and everyone was ace. This place, in a quiet little village, off the beaten track is a hidden gem! Would 100% stay again. Thanks Jackie and family, really appreciate the hospitality. Your new friend, the Honda man 😁

Perfect from arrival to departure. ||Such a warm welcome from Jackie and her other half. Nothing too much trouble and to say they went above and beyond is an understatement. ||We stayed here as our base for Market Rasen and the music show after. It’s quite a distance to the racecourse and when we asked about options to get home after the event Jackie came to the rescue. Had she not i think we still might have been there. ||Rooms had everything you needed and we slept like a log. Breakfast perfect and cooked to order. ||So don’t think twice and book a stay here. You won’t be disappointed.

Would recommend to anyone needing somewhere to stay in the area. Clean and well kept room, beautiful house, full ensuite facilities and breakfast was so tasty! ||The host Jackie was the loveliest with a very warm presence: offering to help out on our backpacking trip along the Viking Way in whichever way she could... She stayed up past midnight for our very late check in due to poor scheduling on our part, (we booked in for the night at very short notice also) she offered to pick us up via her car before dark on the night for safety, to avoid the bad weather and long distance hike needed to get to the location, she also offered to drive us to local services in the morning as we were in a bad way physically. As we were the only guests in the house on the night (a Sunday night) she had the opportunity to and did put all of our wet clothes from the poor weather up to dry and in the morning also gave us various supplies and tips to help us on the rest of our adventure. ||We were made to feel so welcome and not a burden at all in the state we arrived in.

Stayed overnight as I was visiting Cadwell for two days. Jackie was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The house is lovely and my room was spotless with a comfortable bed, and en-suite toilet and shower. Great breakfast as well! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. ||||As it was a Tuesday night, the local pub was closed, but Jackie helped with suggestions for a meal out in Louth.

Had a very pleasant stay at The Old School. Jackie made us all feel very welcome. Breakfast was great and plenty of it. For an additional supplement, she also made a superb stew for us as the local eatery was closed. Top class service. Will definitely look to stay again
