Lovely hotel in a perfect central location. The 5th floor bar offers great views over The Bradford. My wife and I recently went for afternoon tea. The food was very good and high quality. My only suggestion would be to include more savoury elements. Sandwiches were nice but scones,albeit wonderful, plus an additional 4 cakes each was a bit much. Dainty sausage rolls or scotch eggs would have been welcomed

Really nice hotel on the waterfront. Stayed for 2 nights on business and the staff were all very helpful. The bar is at the top of the building so gives great views over the river. Very convenient location for the city centre. Small car park and it is cheaper to park in the multistorey 5 minutes walk away.

Unfortunately, this is a budget hotel but without budget prices. |We booked directly through the Hilton website, which encourages you to download the app. We used the app to check in and the room key is then available through your phone, which means you shouldn’t need a key card. However, when arriving at our room we realised we needed a key card anyway to use the electricity. |Operating the lifts with the app is very temperamental, so we needed to visit reception again to get a different key card. |We’d paid extra for slippers and robes, but had to ask for the slippers, which were dirty. The room was mostly fine, but there were pubic hairs in the bathroom. The carpets were pretty stained and unclean, and there was a major water leak in reception. We drew one of the curtains in the room, but it was just covering the wall. The bed was comfortable, but the quilt doesn’t cover the full bed. |Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice, but there was a wait for some hot breakfast items. |There was a promise of a warm cookie upon arrival, but it wasn’t available and there weren’t any biscuits in the room. |When checking in online, and additional £100 is taken from your bank account. This is understandable, but there’s no pre warning, which meant we had to visit reception again to ask if there was a problem.

A fantastic location right by the waterfront, making it an ideal spot for a stay in Lincoln. The rooms are well-maintained, comfortable, and up to the expected Hilton standards. The highlight is the superbly located Sky Bar, offering great views and a perfect setting for a relaxed evening. Overall, a great choice for both business and leisure stays.

I think it might be time to renovate?

Rooms are good with loads of space and clean (super important!). The people working here are nice and location is amazing especially if you get a room with a view.

But....the bed mattress is creaky, the ventilation system is very noisy throughout the night, the bathroom handle is loose, one of the plugs comes out of the wall.... and - not something that can be helped with renovation - if you stay on the 4th floor towards the back of the hotel you will hear the (I'm assuming) tables being dragged upstairs between midnight until they finish sorting out, and then again from 6am - quite frustrating when all you want is a sleep in.

This hotel is in a great location facing the river, it has parking but charges £16 per 24 hours. Our room was comfortable but cold and the when we tried to turn up the air conditioning we couldn’t . There was only a thin quilt and no spare blankets or pillows. Whilst I am sure we could have asked for a blanket it should have been in the room. The carpet along the corridor was dirty and needed a good clean. The restaurant was very pleasant with friendly helpful staff and had lovely Christmas decorations, it was a good setting to enjoy a nice meal. Breakfast was average. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, a Marco Pierre White restaurant, the food was good but we had a blackberry and apple crumble with ice cream for desert. It was awful. Part cooked large slices of apple and only one blackberry which was lukewarm topped with a crumble mix that appeared not to have gone in the oven but had been put under a grill for a few minutes to brown, it was topped with a very hard scoop of ice cream that should have melted on top of a crumble but the crumble was barely warm, not cooked and the ice cream stayed solid. Very poor!||The best thing about this hotel is its location. An enjoyable stay as Lincoln is a lovely, interesting city to visit and the river front position of the hotel would be hard to beat.

Avoid. First night was lovely but currently on the second night of my stay and at 11.45pm a live music event is taking place 3 floors above me and it is so loud in my room that I am unable to sleep. There was no warning that this event was taking place and it is not due to finish until midnight or 1am depending on who you ask. First member of staff was very sympathetic but the second did not seem to care much at all. If your primary goal in a hotel is to get a good night's sleep then obviously this hotel is not for you. It's such a shame because up until now I had no complaints but this has really soured my whole experience hence the very late night review!

We could not fault any of the staff at the hotel. Friendly helpful in the restaurant . Professional and efficient in reception. 101/10for the food every meal a delight- compliments to the kitchen team.
Disappointment with the rooms. Unfortunately due to noise outside room 117 we changed rooms at 11pm - the management team were very helpful and we moved promptly once they ascertained the noise level was unacceptable for sleeping. The downside the room had a smaller bed- this was addressed by a reduction in the room charge . Thank you
