Had an overnight night stay in one of the 3 rooms they have. Comfortable bed and pillows as well amd we had breakfast in the morning which was lovely too. Great staff and very friendly

Just had a 1 night stay here to be at a family wedding. The service and welcome were top draw. The room was very nice indeed, comfortable, clean, and inviting. The breakfast was again top quality. A spoonful of baked beans would have made it perfect.
The staff who attended our needs were professional and warm in their attitude.
The main road location could be a snag for some.
Would I stay here again? Absolutely. A very nice place to stay and, although we didn't use it, I'd wager the restaurant is equally as good.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Beds were comfortable and clean as was the room. Beautifully decorated and nice bathroom. Food was absolutely delicious and would certainly want to come back and have more of the food. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and would certainly back again for both a meal and for someone to stay!

Booked the gold room package. Beautiful spacious room and luxurious bathroom. Bed was huge and the most comfortable I’ve slept in away from home. Everything you would expect in a hotel was provided. The evening meal was exceptional and staff very attentive and friendly providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There is some noise from the road but the website does say the room faces the road. It certainly didn’t affect a good nights sleep and a lay in till 8 o’clock! Breakfast was just as enjoyable as the evening meal. We will definitely be back in the new year.

A wonderful lunch at the Magpies yesterday. Really delicious. We were just passing through Horncastle and had a super time. All the hard work that has gone into the redecorating after the flood is super. A lovely atmosphere. We have also stayed there previously & the bedrooms and bathrooms are most comfortable.

So disappointing. I have stayed food very good . Room I stayed in very nice. So I bought a voucher for a friend . So they had a nice meal but didn't stay as put in twin bed. This was NOT explained to me at time of purchase as I would never bought it. I rang to explain my disappointment for my friend . And was told I would of been told. Clearly not. sadly the lady I spoke to wasn't interested in my disappointment and just wanted to pass the buck onto me. Please be careful when booking

Just returned from a night's stay at Magpies Restaurant with Rooms. Very comfortable and spacious twin room with a larger than expected en-suite all topped off by an excellent cooked breakfast. Beautifully decorated rooms both upstairs and downstairs with professional and personable staff. What a delight.
