We stayed for 3 nights, our first trip to Bristol. The hotel location is perfect - all the attractions in easy walking distance, including the Clifford Suspension Bridge ||Without exception the staff are excellent - very helpful and professional.||We had a standard double room - not spacious but absolutely fine. The en-suite had a bath & shower. ||The food / bar was good too. Overall, excellent stay and good value. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel looks lovely, when you arrive the reception area, bar and restaurant are all very glamorous. The person who checked us in chewed gum the entire time. The rooms on the hotel website look fabulous. Sadly our room was really disappointing. Very little space and just a bit rundown. Having paid £140.00 you can get a room with more space at a premier inn with breakfast included. |Positive points the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Location was ideal for what we wanted and noise was minimal. |Negative points little space, depressing view, stained carpets, chair and lampshade and ripped wallpaper. |Also parking is only available in a multistorey next to the hotel at a charge of £18.00.

We usually stay at other hotels in Bristol but this was nearer where an event was. Great find. Lovely staff and lovely room. Breakfast was served in a lovely area overlooking the river. ||Room had everything we needed. All clean.||Thanks||Dr Sylvia Davies

This hotel is right in the heart of the docklands area. M Shed, SS Great Britain, The Hippodrome and St Nicholas’s market are all a short walk away and the hotel is a lovely haven when you need it. The reception and bar staff are very polite and attentive and our room with a view over the docks was lovely. As it was my wife’s birthday, the G&T’s and chocolates in our room were a lovely and appreciated touch too. The food was wonderful and the pianist added that extra touch of relaxation and elegance. The Bristol, thank you very much.

Lovely hotel. Got here and was kindly upgraded to a deluxe room. Little did we know it was facing the harbour side with all the bars and all I heard whilst trying to sleep was the base of club music into the early hours. For the price of the hotel it is very disappointing and needs better noise insulation from the outside. No sleep and therefore a waste of money.

Stylish and elegant hotel with a great range of facilities and staff. We were so happy with our choice as The Bristol Doyle Collection is a stone throw from the Harbourside. Restaurant was lovely with a good range of food. Experience both bars and they were liceky

Lovely stay here a few weeks ago. Special thanks to a wonderful lady from housekeeping called Anne-Marie, who managed to allocate us a room with a walk in shower which helped me hugely over the weekend. Having a disability, I had double checked beforehand that I had this facility but on arrival was told there was no room left with a walk in shower! She happened to be in the right place at the right time and was so kind and suggested Room 311.
I can’t thank her enough.
Excellent room, wonderful bar staff. Not a disabled friendly hotel if you find steps and stairs hard to manage. 14 steps down to the River Grille and no lift. I really enjoyed my stay there though and the location is fabulous.

From start to finish the hotel was perfect, the gentleman on reception was more than helpful when we arrived. We also had a complimentary upgrade along with a bottle of Prosecco and fruit with happy anniversary written in chocolate on a plate. We did not expect this and really made our day. The bar was lovely, and reception was very helpful ordering a taxi for us to go into town. Can’t wait to come back we won’t be staying anywhere else
