The beatiful building is let down by the standard of the hotel.|Room was a bit dirty, dust on mirrors and around the room on tops of things.|Towels/flannels smell dirty and had stains and towels/robes where hard and rough.||Bed pillows was too hard and thick, it was aesthetically pleasing but not comfortable. The sofa pillows on the bed was unhygienic as they're not coverd.||Good size room and nice decoration, however the tv was tiny.||Spa- very poor opening times for a "spa hotel" , went to book and was told no spaces, even though it only had a couple of people in there, the gym is ridiculousy small, definitely they should make better use of spaces in the hotel.||Got into the spa the next morning, the pool was off limits and the sauna door was broke so it wasn't hot enough, jacuzzi was tepid warm and steam room also not hot, massive let down.|Also the fact you only get a 1 hour slot with your booking is stingey.||Breakfast not included in the booking price, and the additional cost for breakfast is extortionate , if its not included it shouldn't be that expensive.||Friendly staff, although my wife went to pick up some food at about 11pm and was interrogated by the woman on reception .||Was initially overcharged but was sorted out no problems.||Would probably come again if they had some sort of offer on.

I booked a standard and a superior room. Both were extremely disappointing. The standard was in the basement, up a weird private staircase within the room to reveal a dark hobbity space with a tiny window covered in an opaque film so you could not see out. It also contained one of the hotels major fuse boxes - what was the plan if something tripped in the night? Oooh excuse me, sorry to wake you, just need to ferret about in your cupboard for a few moments. The β€œsuperior β€œ room, on the 3rd floor, was darker and smaller β€” see photo showing FULL daylight . A non opening, obscured window and not at all the same as the room featured on the website. Β£210 of dark small dingy room. Other hotels would let you know and reflect the no view non opening obscured window in the price. At Harbour house they show you a rose then expect you to be happy with a weed. On complaining I was told that they were sorry I felt that way but would do nothing. They did however agree that the pretend window situation should be mentioned. I will never stay here again in this fraudulent rip off hotel. In addition, the lift to our floor was through an unmanned, doors fully opened to the street, entrance. The lift did not require a key swipe meaning anyone could just let themselves up to the hotel floors. Very unsafe.

I had an incredible massage with Cherry! From start to finish, they were professional, kind, and attentive to my needs. She listened to my concerns and focused on the areas where I needed the most relief. The pressure was perfect, and I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. The atmosphere was calming, and their technique was one of the best I’ve experienced. I highly recommend Cherry to anyone looking for a top-quality massage!

We recently had an overnight stay at the Harbour hotel for hubbys birthday. Located within walking distance of the harbour and all there is to offer from a central location. Check in was friendly and informative. We were shown to room 102 which was quirky indeed! Being an old bank the building was beautiful and has a non conventional layout. We didn’t expect to see stairs when we opened the door to our room which could have been tricky after a few cocktails! πŸ™‚ Our room was comfortable, large bed, plenty of storage for clothes, tv, mini bar (chargeable), hairdryer, robes and shower room (although this was a bit on the small side for my preference). The room was supplied with water which was a relief as there was no window to open so it did get quite warm even with the room temp set to low. The Spa was nice enough, but I suppose being underground it was very small. At one point there was 8 of us in there and it felt very cramped. Constantly saying excuse me when moving around. You also have to book a time slot to use the facilities during your stay (1hr on the hour). Highlights for us was the dining, and cocktail bar. The food was exceptional, as was the service, extremely friendly and attentive, and breakfast had plentiful options to suit all dietary needs. The cocktail bar area in the evening was trendy and had a nice atmosphere. Serving a selection of cocktails and other beverages, wine, beer etc. We thought the cocktails were reasonably priced for a city centre hotel and again the staff were very friendly. Overall we had a pleasant and enjoyable stay at the Harbour hotel.

Our room had the cleanest nicest bathroom I have ever had in a hotel. The bed was just marvellous and there were many very thoughtful touches in the room. The staff were friendly, attentive and professional. Breakfast was huge and delicious. The vegetarian sausage was actually veg and really tasty, not a meat substitute. Parking was in an NCP round the corner which was very convenient and with a discount. Atmospheric below-ground spa. I thought it was great. Thank you everyone.

This is not a cosy or comfortable hotel. From the outset, I was not impressed. The reception is cold, unwelcoming, small and in need of some caring attention. The chairs in the reception are scruffy and unclean The large dining room is like a vast echo chamber, lacking in atmosphere, the wooden floor is in a terrible state and surface areas are covered in dust. Other communal areas are in need of a re-paint and the stair / corridor carpets in need of a hoover and in places are badly stained. When I arrived I could not get the lift to work, I notified reception and was just left waiting until they informed me that they would 'tell someone'. I was pointed in the direction of the stairs but not offered any assistance in getting to the floor of my room. . The room was ok but there was no comfortable chair, the pillows were incredibly hard, the bed too soft and there was no information about room service. The KitKat in the mini-bar was priced at Β£2.50p. At breakfast, I had to ask for bread to be provided and when it arrived it was frozen. The staff were polite, friendly and they were really the only positive thing about my stay. The quality of the hotel falls far short of the cost and rating. I would never return.

Highly recommend. Stayed here start of 2025 and we were looked after incredibly well. When we arrived we got a free upgrade to the best room in the hotel. We left a jumper upon leaving and they contacted me right away to organise collection / postage. Fantastic team, fantastic food. Spa is really nice and we had it to ourselves in the morning. Great team well done! πŸ‘ also big thanks to Jean she was very helpful!
