This is the perfect place to stay if you are attending a function at Coombe Lodge, being such a short stroll away. The location itself is stunning and the twin room I had was very comfortable and well maintained. Parking is right outside which was convenient. The service we received was friendly and helpful when we arrived and when we checked out. The breakfast was buffet style and although it was OK, I would say that it was quite basic (eg. the orange juice tasted very much like a budget basic carton type, there were no teapots available for tea, a limited choice of cooked breakfast choices and a very small selection of pastries). I think it could be a bit better. Despite that, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Beautiful setting in grounds of wedding venue .easy check in with friendly staff member. |Rooms clean and fresh nice touches of chocolate and well stocked with tea coffee etc.|Very comfortable bed and good sized bathroom with bath/shower. |No full length mirror which I would have liked as getting ready for wedding party. |Views to gardens and drive uninterrupted but this was both ways so people walking enjoying the views could see straight into the room. Maybe a voile or net to obscure while we were getting ready would have been good as it was we had to close the blind and put light on. |Breakfast served 8.30 till 9.30 we went down for 9.10 the room was well laid out and bright , good choice of cereals and pastry. Although the cooked breakfast was under hot lamps it was all cold sadly except for the sausages which by the way were delicious .|We would come again that said as well presented and in lovely setting.

A nice and clean accommodation. The location was interesting being in the middle woods of Somerset. |Breakfast was of good quality. We were received well and were looked after and guided to our room. |The signs leading us to the House should be made easier to read.

Exceptionally lucky to find this B&B. Our room was really comfortable with an enormous bed and bathroom and within a short stroll of The Coombe Lodge. Ryan was really welcoming and exceeded all our expectations by helping us sort a situation we could not resolve by ourselves.. He really saved the day. Thankyou Ryan, and we will definitely stay with you again when we are visiting relatives in the area.

We were due to attend a wedding in 8 months time so had booked a room last year. Unfortunately the wedding has been cancelled so contacted the owner to cancel the rooms. I appreciate that the cancellations policy states that 50% will only be returned, but we were hopefully that with 8 months notice the decent thing would be for the money to be returned. I’m sure that the rooms will be booked again within the next 8 months. Customer service not the greatest in what is already a difficult time

Lovely hotel. Nice decor, plenty of pillows, lovely branded shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Clipper hot chocolate, tea and coffee in the room. A printed chocolate was a nice touch. Fantastic breakfast with local produce. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We were able to check in early before a wedding at no extra cost. Fantastic service. Thank you.

The hotel was very good ,The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good .It was very convenient for the wedding next door and ideal for the short trip back after the function. On the whole we would recommend the Garden House to future guests.

I stayed in room 2 of the garden house. I was met by Jake Sprouting who was exceptional on meeting me, he couldn’t help enough. A breath of fresh air. My stay was amazing. I was attending an evening wedding party and was a short distance to the main house. The room was amazing along with the facilities. I will definitely be coming back to stay again if I have a wedding or not. The breakfast offered was exceptional and all freshly cooked. Definitely worth the money. Plus safe parking outside of the Garden House. It was lovely to meet Ryan at breakfast the morning of check out as well. All round amazing stay.
