I visited Warrens Village bar last Sunday when attending the bingo. I was left to wait for around 15 minutes for a drink with no acknowledgment or consideration for the wait. Eventually, when I was served I was made to feel inconvenient for ordering a drink and noticed a lady behind the bar had a particularly intimidating presence . Alongside a rude attitude. I have now vowed I will not be making a return to my usual local bar. I’m devastated to have been made to feel so uncomfortable and unwanted and warn new customers to steer clear. Such a shame.

I stayed at Warrens Village in July with my son. The accommodation was very clean. The beds were very comfortable, Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing! We also had a few evening meals there too which were also amazing. Good portions good value for money. If you want somewhere quiet to stay then this is the place.

Great place for a 1-2 night basic stay but i personally wouldn’t stay any longer. We stayed in the very basic chalets so had a bedroom & bathroom. Place was clean, light, airy & tidy and complete with a Double bed, bedside lamps, mirror, fridge, tea and coffee facilities, desk with two chairs, smart tv & an open wardrobe. Bathroom was fitted with a bath shower, toilet and sink with mirror. As a bonus, we also had a parking space right outside.|Shower was powerful but it’s done via taps so can be a bit fiddly trying to get the right temperature. comes with a proper bath mat also, none of the papery stuff & a really nice shower curtain.|Bed comfy - although sheets not put on properly so had to remake the bed. Decent pillows also.|TV works well - it’s smart tv also so you can watch netflix / prime if you choose too.|Free WIFI is a bonus as well.|Quiet.|Had a good nights sleep.|We did use the restaurant and the food was of a good quality, portions on the smaller side and we did find it quite expensive which is to be expected i suppose.|Staff friendly.|Fishing opportunity on site if you’re licensed.|Helpful welcome pack. ||The picky bits would be:|- toilet seat needed replacing, very wobbly.|- no hand soap included|- no bathroom bin|- no toilet brush|- restaurant opening hours should be open longer. Breakfast was 6 or 8am-10am & evening dinner was 5:30pm-9:30pm. i think it should be open from 4pm in the evening and open later until about 11am seeming as check out is 10am.||Would stay again if we needed somewhere for a night. The reason for our stay was a friend’s wedding so needed somewhere to stay overnight. for this kind of overnight stay, it’s perfect. has what you need and is a fair price. thank you for a lovely stay.

The service we got on arrival was poor, we waited half an hour to get our keys and even then was told the place wasn't ready so they moved us (Check in was meant to be 15.00 ) the road leading to the accommodation buildings were flooded and it looked like we had driven into Slimbridge wildlife park. Inside there were woodlouse on the curtains and in the bed, managed to evict them, the bathroom door wouldn't shut. The TV reception was dreadful and so was the Internet connection. Evening meal was fantastic and so was the service, but that is the only good bit about the whole stay ( Two nights ).

Highly recommend. Have booked twice in the last two months (10 days in July then went back again for 7 days in August). One bedroom Chalet with kitchen, bathroom and lounge, very clean and spacious. Very quiet area, close to a private lake. Tranquility at its best. Only a 30 minute walk (along a beautiful river) to the seafront or town centre made it an ideal base when visiting friends and family who live in Clevedon.
I'm looking forward to returning.

Considering the star rating and affordability, this place is impeccable. I would choose it over any other hotel or bed and breakfast within the same price range. The four meals we had were delicious and offered at a fair price.
The presence of a picturesque fishing lake on the premises is an added bonus.
I’m looking forward to a longer stay in the future, beyond just a convenient halfway stop.
