We stayed here in September and what a superb gem this is! We had a lovely welcome from Sally and Phil, nothing was too much trouble, very chatty and very knowledgable on the area. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and we felt very safe. Our room was beautifully appointed, a lovely big comfy bed and all the nice touches - a great fruit bowl, biscuits, coffee and teas etc, nice toiletries too. On one of the days, Sally had just baked some muffins which offered to us whilst we lazed in the lovely garden after our strenuous walk around the gorge (definitely worth doing!)- they were a runny. The breakfasts were delicious too and the choice was very extensive. We wish them all the best during these strange times and if we’re ever in the area again we will definitely rebook. Thank you for a memorable stay!

We had a really lovely long weekend at Hanam Manor, it was just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Sally & Phillip were great hosts and really made us feel comfortable. It seems like they have thought of everything to make the stay Covid safe whilst also being able to enjoy some of the luxuries of going away for a nice stay.||For anyone nervous about Covid safety when going away, this is the place for you! ||The hosts were great at giving us tips of things to do and places for dinner and we enjoyed some very yummy meals at local restaurants. ||Thank you both for a lovely stay. We stayed for 4 nights at Hanam Manor in the Thomas De Hanam room which was beautifully furnished and decorated to a high standard. ||Sally & Philip were excellent hosts nothing was too much, sharing their knowledge of Cheddar and the surrounding areas and places to visit.||Hanam Manor is a period building dating back to the late 1300's which has been restored to high standard. Cheddar Gorge is roughly 10mins walk, with some lovely restuarants there, 4 of which we visited during our stay and was not disappointed, the Zen Thai being our favourite.||Thank you Sally & Philip for making our stay perfect.||Debbie & Paul

This was a re-arranged visit as lockdown had prevented us from going earlier in the year, and we are so glad we have now been able to stay at Hanam Manor. The house itself is a gorgeous old building which has been decorated to a very high standard. We were immediately made to feel welcome by lovely hosts Philip and Sally. They really looked after us and were full of useful information and tips about the local area. On the day of our departure they even took the trouble to check the traffic situation and suggest an alternative route for us. Philip and Sally strike the perfect balance between making you feel spoiled and at the same time, relaxed and comfortable. We can't recommend this B&B highly enough and look forward to a chance to return there.

Sally and Phil are the most wonderful people. They run a well appointed classy yet comfortable establishment . The other reviews already state all the care and measures that they undertake to make you feel safe and comfortable in these strange times. They are so friendly and you feel so welcome and they really take pride In Everything from welcome to the treats - we had homemade brownies to the wonderful breakfasts. Will definitely visit again . Hanam Manor is a beautiful old warm building and Phillip and Sally fill it to the brim with excellent hospitality. Every detail has been examined and planned to the highest quality. The beds are the best I have slept in and the breakfast the best I have had anywhere. The whole operation is gleamingly clean, hygienic and covid secure||||Simply the best.

What a wonderful place to stay... all the small touches have been thought of and taken care of. Great location, beautiful accomodation and the most fantastic, friendly and helpful hosts. Sally and Phil are so personable and cannot do enough for you. Everything has been updated since Covid too. Lovely find and cannot recommend enough!
