Sonja the owner was very friendly and welcoming. The house was nice and clean. The room was very comfortable and I got a good night’s sleep. Tea and coffee with biscuits was available on a table in the hall. We had the bathroom to ourselves although I was told we might have had to share. The shower was great and if I was staying longer I’d have been tempted to have a long soak in the bath. Nice fluffy towels and a good selection of toiletries. Breakfast was a cooked full English taken in a kitchen diner with a good outlook on the garden. Sonja has cats so it could be a problem for people with an allergy to cats. Handy for St Edith’s Folk Club in Kemsing and close to good walks on the downs. We paid cash £80 for two of us in the double room. We parked in the quiet road outside. Sevenoaks can be reached easily by bus or car. |

I was working on the nearby business park, and had a look around online for places to stay - spotting Sonja's B&B just a few minutes up the road so thought I'd give it a try rather than a hotel. Pleased I did - Sonja is a very friendly, welcoming and chatty host, and good company over a cuppa on my arrival. Mine was the single room downstairs which was clean, comfortable, and fine for my overnight stay. Breakfast was very tasty and set me up nicely for the day. Bell Inn is just a couple of mins walk away and serves good/plentiful pub grub. ||||Thanks Sonja!

Clean, comfortable and cosy. No luxury but not needed if you are walking the North Downs Way as we were.
Continental breakfast plentiful.
Sonya is a great host. Gave us space to relax and chatted with us over breakfast.
Do not be fased by the lack of website. Give Sonja a call!

We, a family of three, booked two rooms for 6 nights. We really enjoyed our stay, especially as we were the only guests at that time. Sonja's breakfast was delicious, and each morning we had a different tea pot of her huge collection. Talking to her after breakfast was enjoyable, too. When the weather was fine we were allowed to sit in her beautiful garden. Only con: The double room was a bit small for such a long stay. Kemsing is a village, it's better to go there by car to visit the gardens and National Trust properties nearby, e.g. Knole and Sissinghurst.

Had a lovely stay at Sonja's Bed & Breakfast. ||||I stayed in a double room upstairs which was perfect. Comfy bed, enough space in the room, clean batroom with a nice shower, hairdryer and kettle & slippers, everything I needed. ||||Sonja was a great host and provided me with many tips. She knows the area very well and is so welcoming - really enjoyed chatting with her in the garden and having a coffee & a great breakfast!! ||||The area is beautiful, with a lot of things to do! I would recommend coming with an auto (or during the week + saturday there are busses, but they don't go after 17.00). Kemsing is a lovely town and Sevenoaks is very close with a lot of nice places to visit, charity shops & other stores & nice cafe's, would recommend for a day out. ||||Thank you Sonja! Had a great time & will definitely come back 🙂

Finally, a quiet place where i can actually get some sleep. Loads of parking outside.Rooms have ensuite and everything is immaculate and smells fresh, Not a hair or crumb in site! There is a pub down the road if you've had a hard day( which in my case is every day). Sonja is also a very friendly host and provided a harty breakfast at the exact time I specified for a speedy get away to work. Friendly, clean and efficient service. Proper job!

I haven’t stayed in many B&B’s, but I have stayed at this one twice now. The fact that I went back says it all. |It’s tucked away in a nice quiet place, but very close by to other busier parts of the area like Sevenoaks.|Rooms are spacious, well kept and always very clean. The windows let in a lot of natural light too. Bathroom is also as you’d expect, and also very clean.|Plenty of parking on the road outside, and have never struggled to find a spot to leave the car.|Sonja is also a great host! Always ensuring guests are comfortable, and that breakfast is ready at the Time you requested.

Very nice B & B with friendly "host". Full breakfast was excellent. However, the Wi-fi I was anticipating was no longer available, a bit inconvenient when you have to get up early one morning to take a flight. I did suggest she get it reinstated so I'd recommend checking if you are considering staying. It's been many years since I've stayed in a B & B so I'm not too sure if I was supposed to have a bedroom that locked but I didn't! I had to put my case and a chair right behind the door overnight! Again, I suggest you check this before making a reservation.........
