We stayed a week in this gorgeous b&b. The hosts make you feel right at home from the moment you check in. The rooms are lovely, decorated with taste, and very comfortable. It's a great location near the station, town centre & close to the beach. Breakfasts are great, with fruit salad, lots of options including full English breakfast. But it's really all the little extra attentions that make a big difference & there are many. We highly recommend it.

This B&B is simply brilliant. From the warm welcome, the kindest of owners, fantastic breakfast choices, very clean facilities, huge soft towels provided, quiet accommodation, comfortable bed and good size rooms. The property is very close to public transport and parking less than 1 min away. The sand beach is a short walk away with lovely pubs that serve fantastic food (ideal for dinner). The owners provide loads of information in your welcome pack of things to do and the owners are very knowledgeable about local attractions. I will definitely be booking another holiday here. Honestly 10 out of 10 the owners take huge care of the property and their guests.

Hayley & John were fantastic hosts. The location was near the Train station and the bus station was just outside the stay.

The rooms were so tidy and clean. It was compact and it has been designed well with all necessary amenities. Breakfast was perfect and the hosts were very friendly. My baby especially loved the stay. It's just another home away from home.

My wife and our two young girls visited in August'23. The room was a great family room. The girls had their own bunk beds in an adjacent room so they could have their own space (and us ours!). John and Hayley made us feel so welcome at breakfast. There is a great selection available and wonderful service. The girls loved the variety and chatting with our hosts. Little touches like chocolate eggs replenished daily just added to a great stay. We'd definitely come back - family rooms are often tricky to get right but this was perfect.

I just stayed at The Ryedale in their single room, everything from the welcome, room, location and the breakfast was perfect in every way, I would have stayed longer if I could. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, five stars all the way.

What a thoroughly lovely place. The couple running this b&b could not be more welcoming, the room is tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Thank you for helping us enjoy our first trip to the Isle of Wight. I've stayed in a lot of b&b over the years and this is definitely one I would recommend

A totally satisfying stay… John and Hayley are fantastic hosts, brilliant breakfast to cater for all tastes and immaculate rooms. Ideally placed for quick walks to the esplanade and the high street. Guides to all the recommended sights and sounds along with the best restaurants presented in the rooms, Hayley also engaged with us while serving breakfast and gave us recommendations. The Ryedale also offers up the dining area for use at night if you fancy eating in. They have thought of everything!
