Suffered with back and neck pain for decades.. when I could take the agony no longer, I made an appointment here. I was surprised by the thorough testing and X-rays which showed significant arthritic changes and worse of all.. the curve of my neck going the opposite way. They were clear to tell me that they could not reverse decades of damage in a few sessions and neither could they cure the athritis. However I was assured they could get me into a position where I could be comfortable in my daily life and prevent anything worsening.
I signed up to a course of treatment which has tapered off over the past 3 months to the point that I am now on maintenance only. You only get one spine and I wished I have put this time, effort and money into my wellbeing long before now.
Poppy has been amazing. So informative, kind and understanding. (Don’t be fooled by her small frame) I’ve now committed to keeping myself in this pain free condition and could not recommend Ridgeway Health and Wellness any more. Shout out also to the girls on reception who are also a joy. Many thanks 🙏

I have been a customer of Ridgeway Health and Wellness for many years, from when I originally suffered a bulged disc and severe back pain. I now visit once a month to keep my back in the best possible condition. They are exceedingly professional and offer a very high standard of care. I currently see Oliver, who is excellent, and makes sure that even if I do something silly that aggravates my back that it is sorted out and I’m back to full health and mobility.

I initially visited ridgeway wellness to see if they could help me improve my posture. When I first arrived I met with Poppy and did an assessment to see if they could help me. The assessment was very thorough, my spine was checked, x rays done and a variety of different checks were carried out.

I then revisited a few days later and met with Mark. Mark was clearly very knowledgeable and how he spoke about his team confirmed to me this is the place to go if needed. Mark told me there was various things that can be done to help me and backed it all up with images/x rays etc.

I then spent the next three months going through a personalised plan with Poppy which has helped me no end ! I’m much more aware of my posture, I no longer have aches in my neck and Poppy has given me stretches and exercises I can do at home so they should never come back!

Overall, I can’t recommend Poppy and the team at ridgeway wellness enough. They’re flexible in booking times, always a happy environment and they do their job well!

I first arrived at Ridgeway Health unable to bend or walk properly with severe back pain, I met the wonderful Dr Poppy who scanned and Xrayed my back, the very next day she had worked a plan out for me over a few months and I am happy to say I am pain free, she really has helped me and I am so greatful to be leading a normal life walking sports and the gym again. Thank you Dr Poppy you are amazing, and the lovely Elena at reception always so happy to help.

My husband had his first appointment with Poppy early in December after suffering with psoriatic arthritis and decreasing mobility and poor posture for many years. He also had very little movement in his neck. Poppy did spine xrays and a full assessment on his first visit. At his results appointment Poppy set up a treatment plan. After little more than 2 months the improvement in his posture and mobility is clear to see. He now walks upright again instead of walking with a stoop and the stiffness and pain in his neck and back is much improved. We cannot thank Poppy and Ridgeway health and wellness enough and would certainly recommend.

I started to take my daughter when she was 6 weeks old, she would be crying all the time from colic and reflux and was in a lot of pain and very distressed, poppy was amazing instantly picked up on where the tightness and problems were, and after every session I noticed she became less in pain and more of a happy baby, poppy always made me feel relaxed and reassured, and talked me through what she was doing and even gave tips on how to help my daughter at home I’m so pleased my baby was getting the treatment she needed to become happier and less in pain, cannot thank you enough. Elena was also very lovely every time I’d go she’d always make conversation and showed a real interest in us as clients, all the staff always had a smile on their face, I would HIGHLEY recommend ridgeway, such professional and warming people, Thank you.
