Excellent venue for a peaceful relaxing break. The rooms are beautiful clean and fresh. The spa is well kept and quiet. Having breakfast included in the price was excellent value for money. Drinks are expensive however. Been three times now and each occasion has been perfect.

A beautiful hotel located in a stunning rural setting. We stayed as a family of four with two energetic young boys. There was plenty for them to do on the grounds with a tennis court and lots of open space. They also loved the pool which is family friendly and not too deep. The staff were all very friendly and the room was perfect for us. Will definitely be returning

From the moment we arrived, with Doris the cat greeting us at the car to checking out and the receptionist wishing us a safe journey, we felt welcomed. The friendly check-in set the tone for a lovely stay. ||We stayed in The Fox Suite, which was spacious and nicely decorated, with subtle fox-themed details that added charm. The bathroom was lovely, and the robes were a nice touch. It was a little chilly inside without a thermostat, even with the radiators on, but overall, a comfortable stay.||The spa facilities were clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. We enjoyed the pool, sauna, and steam room, though when more guests arrived, the limited loungers (only 6 available) meant people had to leave belongings by the poolside. A few extra seating areas would be a great addition.||Dinner at the hotel was a good experience. We booked upon arrival and opted for a later sitting. A large table was in at the same time, so we had to go with our second-choice meals, but the waiter was very friendly and made sure to check availability for us. Both the chicken and salmon dishes, along with dessert, were nice. The menu was slightly limited though so would be good to add some extra dishes. Special mention to the ginger-haired waiter behind the bar—he was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helped us pick the perfect drinks.||Breakfast the next morning was also booked at check-in. There was a slight wait while tables were cleared, but nothing major. The only minor issue was that some tables received tea/coffee immediately, while we had to ask—it seemed like a mix-up between waiters with them overlapping on tables. However, the breakfast selection was great, with pastries, cereal, and a good hot food offering. Despite the rainy weather, the views from the breakfast table were lovely.||Overall, a fantastic stay, with friendly service, great food, and lovely facilities. We’d love to visit again.

Absolutely awesome place. Amazing friendly staff, lovely comfortable rooms, great food, stunning views. Breakfast was great. There was only two members of staff on breakfast and they worked their socks off to meet everyone's requests and get breakfast out. They deserve great praise as they did such a great job. We will 100% be visiting there again. The whole experience was wonderful and we felt very relaxed when we left. Thank you so much to all the staff for a wonderful night

Love Love love. Pretty location. Close to places of interest. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel cat is a plus. Very cute back story.
Food excellent breakfast, lunch, dinner all of an equally high standard.
Room was beautiful sleigh bed, pretty wallpaper clean and beautifully presented throughout.
Spa was also great used all facilities on offer. A one day stay felt like a week.
Well done everyone. We will be back for a longer stay next time.

Fabulous weekend spent at the hotel and spa with friends (4 couples getting together).
The rooms in the courtyard area are HUGE a d everything you could wish for is included, even complimentary access to the hotel's spa.
The food was superb (generous portions also), however what really made the weekend special for us was the service received from the staff. They were outstanding, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Special mention must go to Lewis and Hana - both are a real credit to the hotel. Thank you guys!

Had booked the spa and massage for this morning and unfortunately one of our children was sick through the night and unable to go to school so called at 7am to advise we now can’t make it and asked to rebook it. Was met by a very unhelpful “manager” who couldn’t care less about our situation and said they can’t rebook it or refund it so basically lump it. £90 for absolutely nothing is crazy and I’m astonished at the “managers” attitude which included putting the phone down on me because she wouldn’t listen or took any care in what I was saying. She then said she will take my number and get the general manager to call me and then said “oh but they are busy all day today so they won’t call today and I don’t know when they will” goes to show the level of care this business provides to it’s “customers”. Absolutely shambolic behaviour, I’d advise you to go elsewhere any cost!!
