Sara and Simon recently catered our tipi wedding in the Brecon Beacons and I can’t recommend them highly enough. They were fantastic from the start and were instrumental throughout the planning, often pointing out details we hadn’t thought of ourselves! They were really communicative and flexible and dealt with issues on the day really well (we had some power problems)!

Most importantly, the food was really incredible and received great feedback from all the guests. We went for soft drinks, canapés, sharing bbq platters (the brisket was stunning), desserts and gyros in the evening, all of which went down really well. We had a lot of different dietary requirements to cater for and Sara and Simon did this so well, giving each person with allergies their own plated meal with notes to explain this.

The food is such an important part of the day and we’re both so glad that we found Purple Carrot! Thank you so much 😊

Our wedding plans had to change due to covid but Sara and Simon were helpful and flexible the whole way through, what was otherwise a very stressful time of planning. The food was INCREDIBLE, my husband is a former chef who used to cater weddings, so the food was always going to be important to us and everyone LOVED it, I can’t say enough how incredibly tasty it was. I may be biased but I don’t think I’ve been to a wedding with better food ever! The service was also great, the whole team were lovely and helpful. The venue commented on how spotless the kitchen was left. The prices were so reasonable. We had an incredible day, and we can’t thank Sara and Simon enough for the huge part they had to play in making it so fabulous! Highly recommend

We had a fantastic wedding for many reasons but I can honestly say that Simon and Sara were the number one reason why it was such a success! Their catering service and the food they served blew us and our guests away! We had delicious Asian canapes, then an amazing array of wonderful yummy things served as a hamper then they topped it off with one of the best Eaton mess style desserts I've ever eaten! Prior to the day we received great communication from them and they were really flexible with tailoring the menu to suit our tastes and styles. On the day, them and all of their staff were absolutely fantastic, I work in a customer service environment so I usually find fault somewhere but I couldn't fault them at all!! They were perfect! An extremely talented couple who are going to make a lot of brides and grooms very happy. 👍😁
