Ashdown Park has been an unforgettable experience. My friend Paola and I have been surprise about the food quality, the kindness of all the staff and the cleaness of the Spa. Hannah and Beatrice did an amazing job with their massages! They also offered us a detox tea in the relaxing room after the treatments.
Our room in the Hotel was spacious and very clean. The lovely view of the park was just perfect for the weekend away from the busy city of London.
We recommend Ashdown to anyone who wants to enjoy life a little bit more.
We also want to say a big thank you to Kevin.
He took care of us a lot and made sure all the details were perfect during our stay.

We will come back for sure.

I booked the half day spa as a treat for my sister’s birthday and we had such a wonderful experience! We were greeted by professional and friendly staff who showed us round and were available whenever we needed anything. The pool, jacuzzi, gym and relaxation room were very well maintained and provided a very welcoming atmosphere.
Our treatments were amazing, I had a facial and back massage which honestly was up there with the best. Being set in beautiful grounds which we enjoyed viewing over a delicious lunch really topped the whole experience off. Thank you so much, I’ll definitely recommend and hopefully be back soon!

Booked my daughter an Indian head massage for her birthday today she thoroughly enjoyed it and we then went to have lunch in the lounge (we hadn’t booked). As it was a fairly nice day we asked to sit on the terrace which they were happy for us to do. We only ordered sandwiches and a Prosecco each but price was very reasonable especially as there was such a great view and the staff were so nice, friendly and attentive. Particularly Jamie who couldn’t do enough for us, he even brought out a birthday plate for my daughter which I hadn’t requested, it was such a nice and thoughtful touch and really appreciated. Thank you.

Didn't know really what to expect, I booked this as an anniversary night away , from the pictures on the Hilton app and the restaurant sample menu. So glad we did. Staff extremely friendly from the front of house lady who welcomes you into the lounges to all the other staff we encountered. Food excellent, loved the breakfast freshly cooked hot Choices. The evening meal was also very good,the beef with chips and the sauces - yummy. |So much to see on the grounds, golf pitch and putt, gym,swimming pool, secret garden. Stunning views. We will definitely stay again, everything was first class. After an awful journey a relaxing time at an outstanding old school hotel.

My husband and I have just returned from a lovely night away celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. It was a lovely surprise to see we had been upgraded to a bigger room with a jacuzzi bath. We chose the romantic night away package that came with afternoon tea, champagne and chocolates in room, dinner in the restaurant and breakfast. We also booked a couple of treatments which were amazing and so relaxing. The hotel itself self is beautiful especially the grounds. The staff were helpful and friendly no issues there. Food was delicious in all areas. The room its self was a bit dated and could do with a revamp. |My only complaint is the service charges. We were charged a service charge for every service we received which added to nearly £40! Each service we had was part of the package they offered and came with in the cost of the stay. It was a surprise to be greeted with this bill when we checked out so please be aware of this. |Also be aware that it is very expensive here! |Apart from that is was a lovely stay

Stunning old Hotel and grounds. We stayed in a superior classic room. Which was a good size, huge bathroom, it was in the east wing the windows were a bit drafty . The bed was very comfy. The TV signal was weak and kept dropping out which was annoying.

The spa was clean, but it doesn't have a sauna or steam room, as I would expect it to have, which was disappointing.

Drinks are very expensive in the bar. The dinner was very nice and started well but after finishing our meal we had to wait 45 minutes for our plates to be cleared then 15 more minutes before they came to take our desert order, by which point we were fed up waiting and just ordered coffee. The staff are all very young , and did work hard, but in my opinion, there wasn't enough staff to cope with the amount of dinner guests.
Breakfast was OK, but again, the service was poor. The hot food has to be ordered, which is great as it's all cooked fresh. However, we had to wait 50 minutes for our food. They did try to give us other people's food in that time. When ours finally came, it had been offered to two other tables before reaching us. No offer of sauces, we decided not to ask for any as we had no idea how long it would take them to get some. Again, they are all very young adult's probably still learning. Would I stay there again ? No.

We stayed at the hotel for our wedding which was taking place nearby and had the most amazing experience. We stayed for 3 nights alongside lots of our family and friends and the hotel were so accommodating and made the stay really special. We booked one of the bridal suites and it was absolutely huge and perfect for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in.

Breakfast was amazing, with quality orange juice, sourdough, amazing cheeses and honey still on the honeycomb. Its details like this and quality produce which make a hotel stand out. There was also cooked to order breakfast which was fabulous.

The bar was great and they were so welcoming and accommodating, only thing I would flag is that cocktails are ridiculously expensive even for London where we are used to.

The pool was also lovely and you got nice robes and slippers in all room categories.

This place is amazing. The Staff, the Food the Accommodation, the Pool are all just perfect. We have stayed at quite a few English Country Resorts, but this is the best we have experienced.|We look forward to coming back in February. Patricia and Eric
