Exceptional levels of service and fantastic food made for an excellent formal dinner for almost one hundred people. From first contact planning through to final service, the staff at Ivy Hill made last night’s function a joy to plan, prepare and deliver.||The room and individual tables were set to allow for a feeling of space and comfort despite the large number of people in attendance. The meal was excellent and exceptional value and very much enjoyed by all. Catering for dietary needs was simple and dealt with easily to the guest’s satisfaction. The service was fantastic - unobtrusive and efficient - keeping the function to tight timelines without fuss. ||A truly brilliant event was enhanced by the whole team at Ivy Hill, and I am especially grateful to General Manager, Libby, for her attention to detail and for leading the evening so effectively.||Highly recommended!!

I had my 80th birthday afternoon tea at the Ivy Hill Hotel from beginning to end the staff were very professional and couldn’t do enough for us. The attention to detail was excellent and the tea delicious. I would definitely recommend it.

We had our wedding at the Ivy Hill Hotel and it was the best day I've ever had. The staff were amazing from planning the day with Charlotte to check out with the friendly reception staff the next day. Special mention to Lewis, who gave us helpful tips on good photo ops at the second pond and continously checked on us throughout the whole day. We had a very intimate wedding and hired out a dome to have our evening meal in. It was beautiful. The food was delicious and once again the staff were brilliant. I cannot recommend this venue enough! Will be coming back for our first anniversary!

The bed was very comfy and the room a great size. however the banging of doors that went in into the early hours and started again at 7am! perhaps slow closers could be added? the bathroom is in dire need of a revamp and some areas were not clean. the water pressure is very low

My son and I only had one night at Ivy Hill Hotel but I hope to return. I found all staff very kind and welcoming and all very smartly attired. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Our evening meal in Bartellas was excellent and equally so with breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic venue for wedding breakfast. The team went above and beyond for everything to make sure our day was special. Libby, Emily and the whole team were absolutely stellar. The chefs need a shout out because the standard of food was Michelin star quality. Absolutely zero complaints, only multiple compliments about the venue, service, food and accommodation. I’ve since been to other Best Western owned venues for wedding receptions and truly, they were lacklustre compared to the Ivy Hill Hotel. Cannot recommend this venue enough.

Really nice size family room with nice decor. Comfy beds. There was a problem with the central heating but that wasn’t anybody’s fault and we were refunded some money. I will say that some glasses and water wouldn’t go amiss . The bathroom needs updating. All in all we would go back
