Very superior B&B. We stayed in the upstairs rooms. Spacious bedroom and bathroom, and large comfortable bed. Pleasant sitting area. All very cosy in wintry weather. Excellent breakfast with very good fruit salad. Friendly and helpful hosts. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing place. Suzanne and Ben are great hosts. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, the breakfast was superb and the standard of cleanliness throughout was exceptional. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and family and stay again when we are next in the area. Thank you.

Following a long day travelling it was great to arrive at Lavender House, where I received a warm welcome from the lovely host couple. Accommodation spotless and every little detail had been considered. My quiet, tastefully decorated room had a lovely private patio onto a pretty garden. Treated to a lovely cup of tea and fresh cookies in the room. Enjoyed a freshly cooked breakfast the next morning, with a broad menu choice. It was such a lovely stay I wished I had been able to stay another night, hopefully another time!

Suzanne and Benjamin are great hosts. The Garden Room was lovely, everything was beautifully clean. The breakfast was delicious and I spent a really enjoyable few days at Lavender House while attending a wedding in a nearby Hotel. I would certainly recommend Lavender House.

This small B and B is excellent. The suite is very comfortable. The bed is firm and the bathroom is spacious. The usual coffee and tea making facilities are available. They are complemented by delicious home made oat and chocolate biscuits. |The breakfasts are pre-ordered and should suit most tastes. The generous, cooked breakfast comprised good quality local produce (e.g, sausage, bacon) and a home made hash brown. |The house is ideally situated if you want to visit the Great Central Railway as it is located, literally, round the corner. |Quorn village is less than a mile away and has a variety of venues where you can get an evening meal.

Lovely, clean, warm accommodation; en suite bathroom and separate sitting room with TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The beds are super comfy with quality linen, duvets and pillows. Wonderful friendly host. A large choice of breakfast from a pre ordered menu which was cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

What a find! So glad we found this B & B as Hotels in the area have certainly gone down hill. First thing to say is that Lavender House is absolutely spotlessly clean. Our suite on first floor overlooking large immaculate garden was very comfortable with super king bed and high quality linen. It's also very quiet so we had 2 nights of great sleep. Ample parking off road in front driveway.||Must mention the lovely Suzanne and Ben, the hosts - Really friendly and do everything to make your stay enjoyable hence they have many returning guests.||Breakfasts were absolutly superb. You order from the cooked menu the previous evening and it's cooked fresh whilst you tuck in to an array of cereals fruits sold and yogurt.||A Pub hotel is just a 3 minute walk where had a great evening meal. and the Quorn town centre about a calm 20 minute walk - Oh and the heritage railway 3 or 4 mins away||Stay here - you will not find better!||

My cousin and I stayed a night at Lavender House in order to do some family research in the area. Our hosts were very welcoming, and gave us good advice about an excellent local restaurant at which to eat. The bedrooms and bathrooms were tastefully furnished and very comfortable. (Tea and coffee making facilities, home made biscuits) . Loved the view of the garden behind. I would certainly recommend staying to anyone!
