Nicola was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Initially our celebrant then later our coordinator too. It’s safe to say we couldn’t have done it without her! She resolved problems first and told us about them later. She coordinated everything to a T working brilliantly with the team around us. We were fortunate to be introduced to Nichola Reeder by James Blenkiron (Funeral Director) who recommended her to act as the celebrant for our daughter's cremation service (Thirsk). Nichola visited us and listened. Then between her, James and us the service was organised. She led it beautifully with such insightfulness and professionalism, for what was for us an extremely painful and emotional experience. She could not have been better.
She was so good, she was invited to lead a Celebration of Life for our daughter in London at the beautiful GuildHall. In front of approximately 300 people she was brilliant again. So many attendees commented on her accomplished and professional performance, and we cannot recommend her high enough.

Nichola conducted my Dad's funeral service, and it was beautiful. It was a woodland burial in January, so not a conventional service and with some logistical challenges. This didn't faze her at all, and we still had music and the full service (she had a contingency plan in case of inclement weather).
Nichola had some really good suggestions and composed a lovely tribute to Dad based on the information we gave her, and she added some lovely touches of her own that showed her natural empathic flair.
Having been to another funeral where Nichola officiated, I had no hesitation asking Nichola to cover Dad's and can heartily recommend her.

Nichola was our Celebrant for our dad’s (Graham Harwood) funeral.

She held a video call meeting with us to gather all information we could recall and then put together a wonderful eulogy for us to read and edit as we saw fit.

I must confess, I caught everyone out with a bit of joke information that I’d slipped in there and had everyone in hysterics. Whilst we were trying to regain composure, Nichola remained professional throughout helping to pull us back round 🤣
