Arrived worried after reading some of the reviews and standing outside the hotel, it would appear they are still hard at work with renovation work, however once I called the number shown, all my fears went. I spoke to a very helpful guy who guided me through the front door and to my room, very easy and hassle free. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened my room door, so clean and fresh, we were given a room with a balcony, which was fantastic, the view was lovely too.... We stayed 2 nights, second day when we returned to our room it had been given a clean to our surprise, and a much better clean than you would get from any other hotel... We will be staying there again later this year, looking forward to seeing the progress made on the renovation work.

Absolutely awful!
No service within the hotel. Even when you call and ask for help they ignore you.
Had to leave my holiday a day early because the hotel was horrendous.
Dirty food stained towels
Blood on my bedding!
Couldn't even use 1 room I had booked as my door was broken and they didn't help or attend to fix.
Very noisy till early hours in the morning! Wouldn't let my dog sleep there let alone my kids. Awful experience

The overall stay was adequate. And the room was fine. Wasn’t really pretty or anything but for the price I was happy. But the only down side to the whole thing is when I had a shower. The shower was that hot it scolded me. I contacted the hotel about this but didn’t hear anything back. I just worry a child will have a shower and end up in hospital from being scolded. I was lucky it was a small scold on my stomach. The shower
shouldn’t be able to get that hot.

I've been to this Hotel a few times and have posted a review on each time that I've visited.
Have say 1st that it is a budget hotel with sliding price scales depending on what you want!
Don't expect the upper deck of the Titanic because it won't happen.This is a budget hotel for a reason (s). My times at this hotel went well in all regards with no complaints. It was fully functional and practical for me and my wife, if there was a door that rattled then no problem, if a floorboard played up then no problem, if there was no remote for the TV which does happen from time to time then still no problem, the room (s) are still functional. Righty then! On my last visit last week all was good except for one thing! Security for me means everything and when it comes to staying at someone's hotel I would automatically expect the owner (s) to be thorough regarding the safety/security of the premises; I noticed our back window had no locks that were workable, they were in place but parts were missing which left the room vulnerable and had me having to bring my personals with me every time I went out. Everything else about the hotel was just fine, the chamber maids and management were all nice people and always on call if you needed them. Please, sort the window locks out.

It was not rearly a room that was for a holiday, it smelled old the sheets smelled sweaty then I quickly realised it was a hotel just to sleep with working people if you catch My drift it was cheap but when I asked to see the manager they gave me the run around still waiting for the refund. They said they would upgrade our room and they did but there was dry skin on the bed stains on the walls so we left and never looked back

Our stay was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. I wouldn’t even give it one star but it won’t let me not put one.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Couldn’t get in to the hotel when we arrived as the road was shut off by the police due to an incident opposite our hotel. There is no parking at the hotel we had to park 10 mins away and walk with all our stuff we was lucky to get a space as someone was just leaving. There is no reception desk to speak to anyone. There was sharp tools left lying about.

The room was a shambles the curtain was hanging of the rail, the mattress didn’t fit the base of the bed, there was a hole in the wall, plug socket wasn’t fitted in the wall. The room was not clean as there was ring marks left from cups and tabacco on on the side and floor, the bathroom stunk of sewers, shower base filled up with water it wasn’t going down the plug hole, toilet when flushed filled up to the top and the water was scolding hot or cold. Had no electric in the room for a day, couldn’t get in our room as it’s a code not a key.

On our second night there was trouble at the same house opposite where police was called and we had to be up early to leave the next day.

Had to phone the company we booked it with to check out.

Location is perfect but shame about the hotel.

On arrival I was told that my booking had been cancelled and there was no room available, but after he had spoke on the phone he told me I would get a room later that day. When we got a room i was told not to use the shower. When we got in to the room there was obvious issues with the plumbing the room smelt of drains, it had flies in it and a hole in the wall. However, the shower was repaired on the 2nd day and the owner was very nice, although I would not book there again

My husband booked for two nights in this hotel on arriving on Friday we had to ring for a code to get in and then attempt to find our room
The stairs needed cleaning and the net curtains were ripped and dirty
When we found our room it looked nothing like any of the photos on the Booking.com sight the bed was hard against the wall and there was one bedside chest of drawers badly marked no bedside lamps. The bedding had been thrown onto the bed and we had only one very thin pillow each. The curtains were hanging off the rail ands the tv had been snapped of the wall so we could not watch it as you couldn’t see the tv from where the bed was placed. The Wardrobe had no coat hangers and it was missing several handles so we had to leave our clothes in our case there was an old dining chair to sit on but it was rickety so we didn’t attempt to sit on it.
The shower in the bathroom was so low down that you had to duck right down to wash your hair (we had asked for a room with a bath)
The worse was yet to come during the night there was a fight on our floor and because there is no one there they could do what they want with no consequence so we spent half the night wide awake
Suffice to say even though we paid for two nights we only stayed one night
We would not recommend this hotel at all and maybe booking.com should check out the hotel before sending guests there
I wouldn’t give it any stars but wouldn’t let me do that
