A lovely little hotel in an amazing location opposite the pier in Great yarmouth. We were on the top floor in a triple room (myself and 2 children) the room was clean and had all facilities we needed. The staff went above and beyond and made our stay as comfortable as they could, carrying bags, making sure we always had fresh bottles of water. The hair dryer in the room was not working but as soon as I told staff they had a spare which they gave us for the rest of our stay. The beds were actually very comfortable and there was a fan in the room so no problem with the heat we have just had. Showers were great and storage was good also. We didn't hear any other guest and had a great few nights sleep! Thankyou again for a wonderful stay- we will definitely be back 🙂

My room wasn’t very clean there was bits of rubbish under the bed! I didn’t sleep well either because of the noise inside and out. The receptionist was friendly and the location is close to all the attractions.

We booked a family room at the last minute, we chose the cavandish because it was one of a few that had rooms left so weren't sure what to expect. We found comfortable rooms, clean, cheap and cheerful. Looks like the rooms have been recently renovated. However there is no bar or games room as claimed on the sign out the front, there is however a good pub on the same road a few buildings up.||Overall a good hotel at a good price, I would stay at this hotel again as it was good value for money. ||

After seeing some of the bad reviews, we were reluctant to book here but I can honestly say it was amazing!
We parked on the street which costs £5 per 24 hour time period (you can get a visitor pass at reception).
We were made to feel very welcome after being quite unprepared for the journey, and we were given 4 bottles of ice cold water free of charge. Nice touch, especially in this weather.
The whole place smelled clean and newly decorated.
The room was clean and spacious. The TV was a very good size which is rare for hotel rooms!
The room was refreshed in the morning which we weren't expecting for a 2 night stay
Close to the beach and town centre.
Not one bad thing to say really!

We stayed here for 5 nights 8th August 2022. Great location only one minute away walk from Britannia Pier.||We was greeted by Jackie who was a great host and friendly and also his other host was friendly.. Nothing any trouble only have to ask. He told us the place has been renovated and updated which it has been. He is still renovating some partd of the hotel at this minute which will involve a spa and games room in the basement. Jackie showed us all the rooms with were spotless clean and really freshly painted and new carpets throughout.||Room with a balcony we booked and recommend for a great view of the pier. You can smoke outside on the balcony if you wish.||Kettle in room and condiments topped up each day sugar tea coffee milk etc. ||For a budget price we were very happy and we cannot understand the previous bad reviews.||If we do go to Great Yarmouth again we would definitely stay here again.|Thank you again Jackie for all your hospitality and nice place to stay|

I stayed here for 2 nights in a August. I booked Throughout Booking.com where it advertised free parking, free breakfast and the pictures made the hotel look clean and functional. ||However we were disappointed when we arrived. The breakfast was charged at £3 per day-not a lot but it was advertised as free. “Free parking” was also £3 per day. ||The lady and gentleman in charge were very friendly and lovely with the children but the room was awful. ||||There was enough dust inside the hotel to sink the titanic. Everywhere. I felt quite poorly until I left when I coughed up all sorts. The shower was either Baltic or boiling-kids didn’t enjoy that much. All of the bathroom fittings were rusty and the sink was hanging off the wall. The fan blew out a cloud of dust when switched on. Towels were ok. Looked clean and laundered. ||||The window frames were rotten and only opened on the widest setting due to warping. Again a concern for the children. ||||Wifi “didn’t reach our room” despite being advertised as free. ||||In all, if I visited again I would not visit this hotel. On the plus side I was so reluctant to go back we spent lots of time out. Had it been raining it would have been awful! ||||Needs a massive refurb and deep clean. Great location...that’s where it ends unfortunately.
