We had afternoon tea for 9, and it was superb. The staff were so helpful and kind, and the food was beautifully presented and fresh. A good mix of sandwiches, including vegetarian options, and delicious homemade cakes and scones. Lots of tea and coffee top ups too.
It's a lovely airy space and it was a very relaxed afternoon. Thank you to the whole team.

Visited on a recommendation as we were in the area. It was really nice, friendly staff, excellent homemade cakes and good coffee. Dogs are welcome with free treats available and plenty of water bowls outside. I really liked the homemade sausage rolls. Very reasonably priced. Plenty of parking.

I went to The Hub with friends the other day. My goodness what a fabulous afternoon. The room was set up beautifully and the cake stands full with delicious cakes, beautifully decorated, scones to die for and perfectly filled sandwiches.
The service was excellent, nothing too much trouble. The Hub is a wonderful asset to the area and the baking is second to none, well done the pastry chef! I and many friends will be returning frequently to savour such terrific food.
A wonderful find, easy parking and its free. The Hub is definitely the relaxing centre for the whole community.
Look forward to seeing you again soon.

This cafe is amazing we absolutely love this place, the cakes are unbelievable, and the variety of what you produce. We love supporting such a great cause and don’t feel we’re getting ripped off in the process. This is the nicest and best cafe around, We love sitting outside and relaxing. Your chefs are by far the best around. Well done St Catherine’s.

Returned to the cafe after a few weeks away as we felt the standards had dropped. But what a transformation, love the atmosphere, coffee, cakes and selection of food. Staff are really welcoming and engaging.

We have recently visited the cafe a few times to find that they have decided not to serve hot food. This seems to be becoming unfortunately bit of a trend despite the menu being of limited options. They don’t even off sandwiches fresh or ready made.
However, the cakes have remained a reason to visit, the variety of what they make is always exciting to find out. Most recently the School Cake took me back to my school days as did the bread pudding. Can’t wait to see what their chef makes for Christmas.

It’s such a shame as they started off really well and enthusiastic.

Had afternoon tea at the hub recently, it was fantastic, presentation and attention to detail were a very high standard, the actual sandwiches, scones and cakes were superb all freshly made on site. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this and will definately be going again. !!! My thanks and appreciation to the pastry chef and her team. All profits to the hospice too.

I visited the Hub this afternoon for a delicious afternoon tea. The sandwich fillings were generous and the humous mint and carrot filling was particularly tasty. The lovely fresh home made scones and cakes were fantastic. We will definitely return !
