A cosy place with warm and welcoming service. We popped in for tea and cake, the carrot cake was perfect! Other customers ordered pasta dishes and they looked and smelled delicious so I’m keen to try the pasta next time!

I went in there today with my wife. The first thing we noticed was the clean smell and the friendly welcome. I had the tomato soup. We both tasted it and we both said that it’s the best tomato soup we’ve ever had! My wife had a ciabatta filled with mozzarella and sun dried tomatoes. Served with a salad and a dressing. My wife never eats salad, but she ate all of this one! We’re definitely going back to try the pasta dishes on offer. Everything is fresh and delicious. Fantastic place!

This Diner is not a Big Place but feels Homely,welcoming and the meal was Really Sumptuous. The Potatoes were something different 😋
There was a lady who I think was also the Chef 👩‍🍳 she was really warm towards my Child.
I will definitely visit again.

Most amazing birthday get-together with family and friends. Thanks to Ozi and wife at the Lemon Tree, everyone loved the service and food, all fresh homemade cuisine. All the staff were amazing and looked after us so well, great time had by all.

Friendly helpful staff, genuinely want you to have a good meal and adjust menu to suit allergies and preferences. Freshly cooked Mediterranean food, if they've just made tiramisu you've just got to have some ,it's delicious and I don't normally like it.

Have had both lunch and evening meal with friends at The Lemon Tree and both were first class. Good menu choices and food delicious and well presented along with accompanying wine. The staff, namely Ozzie so helpful and friendly and a great atmosphere despite being small. Would highly recommend. Judy

Blimey 😍 How did we not know about this place sooner!? By far the best jacket potatoes in Chelmsford! We paid £8 for a full meal with fresh ingredients full of flavour. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you guys!
