A pleasant stay. Very clean, friendly staff and good food.
Breakfast a little disappointing. Limited choice for the included breakfast. No toast or jams/marmalade provided. Had to ask for a croissant which came without jam, marmalade or honey. No buffet bar with cereals, juice or breads.
Otherwise, our stay was faultless.

We went for dinner to celebrate my husband's 82nd birthday, as it was one of the places we used to frequent while courting in the 1980s, and some years later, but sadly went downhill so ut had been a good 15 years since our last visit but hearing it was under new ownership we have it a whirl. What a superb menu - not too many choices but a decent variety from venison to fish and steak. Sharing starters so you don't spoil your appetite. Oh my goodness - my steak actually WAS medium rare - not medium to well as I have sadly got used to. The choice of desserts - normal (massive!) or small (I call three Biscoff-filled donuts normal, not small) - was also excellent. The wine was the right temperature. The service could not have been better. The ambience was how it was 45 years ago when we first visited this little jewel in the Worcestershire countryside. We will be back - probably on a Wednesday as the offer is so generous! Thank you everyone from chefs to front of house.

I spent nearly 2 weeks here with a colleague on a business trip from the US. I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the room and the Inn overall. The coffee / tea bar in the room was terrific; I enjoyed a cup of french press coffee each morning before starting work. The restaurant was excellent; we ate there nearly every night and worked through the menu, repeating some of our favorites. I did not have anything that I did not enjoy, and the service was friendly and pleasant. The relaxing atmosphere was just what we needed each evening after a long day of work. If I return to the area, I hope to stay again.

Thank you for a nice experience it was a first time. I do write ups when i visit pubs and Inns, although it was only a stop off for a drink it is a nice Inn with historic connections to Guy Fawkes. Nice location and nice decor with roaring fires going and clinging to that vintage look. I'd certainly come back as the service and wonderful staff made it good reason to think about coming back someday. Wish you well in your business, and I'm sure the food matches too. Worth a look.

We had a lovely 3 night stay with our 2 sighthounds on the Muddy Paws tarrif. We found all the team very welcoming and provided good service throughout our stay. We had a evening meal each day of our stay and found the food to be good quality and tasty. The breakfasts were good and our dogs enjoyed their sausages!!
We stayed in one of the annex rooms which had everything we needed and was lovely and warm despite the chilly weather. It made life easy with the dogs. The only slight issue was the TV was missing lots of channels, the staff had were aware of this and had booked a repair due after our stay to rectify the problem this didn't spoil our stay. We will be recommending the pub to or dog owner friends and we will be definitely returning for another stay when we come back to Worcestershire.

Absolutely amazing valentines meal. Blade of beef was pure class. Bacon chop was lovely also.. fantastic choice of Mocktails. Place is amazing, great atmosphere and inviting, service is off the scale good. Last time we came was for our wedding 17 years ago...Why don't we go here more often? We definitely will from now on..

My husband and I enjoyed a very comfortable one night stay at the Hadley Bowling Green Inn, accompanied by our two pet greyhounds. When the very kind staff saw the size of our dogs, we were upgraded to a larger room so we would have plenty of space for their beds. This was very much appreciated! We stayed for dinner and enjoyed a tasty breakfast before setting off the next morning. We booked direct and used the Muddy Paws offer, which was really excellent value for money. We would certainly stay again! Thank you very much.
