This is a beautiful tranquil place...

We went on Saturday, the sun was out and we took a ride out to Bromsgrove.

This place has A selection of artisan boutiques along with huge grounds and a picturesque seating area around 2 Duck Ponds...

There is a licenced bar and cafe
We had some food and drinks...
This was A little expensive to be fair £14 for 1 cup of tea, 1 cup of coffee and a single slice of Apple pie with a small scoop of ice cream... Free car park and entry made up a little towards this

It was a really pleasant place to visit and take kids to feed the ducks... They are quite tame and enjoy the seed bags you can buy for 50p

There is a place to buy flowers that looked really well priced

"The plant girl" (shown in photos)... The artificial cats were really striking and the plants looked fresh and vibrant and had some good prices.

The glass blowing shop was interesting to watch them heat and shape the glass, with lots of trinkets to buy... Again quite expensive on the face of it but unique items often are.

The bakery shop (Dalish Bakes) had some amazing hand made cakes, Ali was an exceptionally skilled baker (photos)
I will have to order the bouquet of flowers cupcakes for the next special occasion.

They are registered for civil ceremonies here and the back drop would be ideal for our wedding... The tent was up and the tables laid out for a 50th birthday party and it all looked fantastic.

It's a great way to spend a few hours grab some food and fresh air... For walkers there is a 6 mile route around the estate and dogs are welcome.

There are also horses and cows in the fields next to the duck ponds.

Great place for fresh air and walking with the children.

I had a lovely time this afternoon.

Mom and I went to the restaurant/cafe.

The food was lovely, and the staff were very helpful. I had a cake to go, with I had at home with a nice cup of tea.

My mother and I also bought some very nice chocolates from the on-site chocolate tear.

I also enjoy seeing all glass objects at the glass blowing shop, the ceramics at the pottery shop, and some inspiration art in the art and craft shop.

All in all, it was a very enjoyable afternoon.

They have changed the restaurant - bigger choice of hot meals with a menu on the table rather than under a hot plate. Much better. Good value and quality. My only criticism would be the coffee. They would benefit from a proper coffee machine.

Went into the cafe here and ordered what was described in the menu as a hot meat bap with chips.
What actually turned up was three sausages in a dry bun with a handful of thin french fries smothered with salt, not even proper chips. That cost £14.50p, an absolute rip off.
A very small cup of coffee and a tiny bottle of orange drink cost about 7 quid on top. Didn't see any prices displayed on the cold drinks cabinet either.

I nearly ordered fish and chips, but that would probably turn out to be a couple of fish fingers with salty fries.

It's a nice place here , but I shan't be going back again due to the dishonest menu descriptions and extortinate pricing.

Small but there are a few quality outlets of interest. There are very pleasant gardens where you can take in the view, go for a country walk or feed the ducks if so inclined.
The café was a bit of a disappointment, much of the menu was unavailable, one of the servers was quite abrupt, the lamb shepherd's pie had bone and gristle in it, the Victoria sponge was dry. Not good enough considering the prices.
Some 10 months later we returned and had a Sunday lunch which wasn't planned.
I be honest and was slightly nervous how good it would be given our previous experience however it was excellent, indeed I have to add that the beef was the best I have possibly ever had.
And there was nothing wrong with the rest of the meal either.
There's a full bar too that doesn't appear to get a mention.

Beautiful collection of small makers in a wonderful setting - spoke to the young lady and her mother working at The Plant Girl shop and picked up some quirky garden decorations, some Kew Gardens hand cream (which smells amazing) and some small house plants 😊

I also quite enjoyed the chocolatier round the corner.

Nice way to spend an afternoon
