1st Class! Tom and his team made me feel welcome as soon as I stepped inside! Nothing was too much trouble! Lovely, warm, classy ambiance! Definitely I’ll be back xx Oh! And best ever coffee in a long time (nice and hot too which for me it’s a plus!) 🙏🏻👌🏼

Had an excellent meal for 6 of us at lunchtime today. The service was attentive and the food excellent. Great value for money. Would recommend and will be back. Make sure you book as very busy

Was looking forward to a great roast. Sadly this was not to be. Undercooked potatoes, Yorkshires were like chewing cardboard. Tasteless overall. Dessert arrived with someone’s chip in the plate.
On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful.

We have just had the best roast eating out ever. I had the beef and turkey and both were cooked perfectly and not all fatty. The gravy was thick, rich and meaty and the selection of fresh veg was excellent. Highly recommended

Absolutely monster portions and decent quality scran too. Found the staff to be friendly and enjoyed the meal even if neither of us could finish it! Would definitely visit again

Christmas day was always going to be different from normal days. However, despite booking in Sept and explaining I had my mother aged 92 with me, they put us on the 1st floor with only a staircase to get there. The waitresses were lovely and helped us get her up there. We felt very squashed and my mother had to eat with my coat over her as it was too drafty and cold for her. The food was bland, no bread sauce, one gravy for all meat choices. Dry. Very 'school dinners'. Profiterole pretty awful, filled with a mouse type substance. Christmas pudding was quite nice. Couldn't wait to leave, too claustrophobic. No Christmas music which would have been nice.

Nice staff, however carvery wasn't good at all. I was there at begging of dinner when carvery should be freshly cooked. Even Yorkshire pudding was done well. Tobi Carvery in Worthing is much much better.

What a lovely find…6 hungry friends stumbled upon this place on a wet and windy Saturday afternoon. We were too early for the carvery but the menu on offer was great and cooked to perfection. Great service and friendly staff..
We will definitely make a point of returning next time we’re in the area.
