After such a lovely holiday last year, we were excited about returning to Racing Greens Beach Apartment …. Eileen and Alan greeted us like old friends, and everything truly lived up to our memories!||Racing Greens is on a quiet road (pelican crossing immediately in front), and the Beach Apartment is facing the sea, just a very short walk across The Green to the Lifeguarded beach and main amenities. It’s also only a short walk from Harbour Park (funfair), pond (boats), river (boats, crabbing, etc), and various eateries. We parked the car on The Green immediately opposite the apartment, with the provided free parking permit.||The apartment is delightful, and ideally suits us as a 3yr old and Mummy (king-sized double and single beds in the large bedroom) and Granny (extremely comfortable day bed in the lounge). The lounge / dining room is spacious, the small kitchen, bathroom and hall well-designed, the furniture and fittings are lovely, with plenty of storage, and Eileen and Alan have thought of everything !! There is a small courtyard garden in front, for sitting and relaxing, or for children to play (Eileen has invented an ingenious way of locking the gate !!). ||There is a folder of info, and the WiFi is good. Alan and Eileen are always happy to answer queries and give additional insight into places to visit and to eat. (We would greatly recommend 47 Mussel Row, and The Fish Factory, for delicious evening meals, plus thoughtful provision for children….) ||Overall, the perfect setting for an English Seaside Holiday !!

Racing Greens Beach Apartment is superbly located close to the beach, the River Arun, and other local favourite spots, and there are eateries of various types nearby. Cars can be parked immediately opposite in the Public Car Park, with the Permit provided. Eileen and Alan are such friendly, helpful people, and have thought of pretty much everything ! The Apartment is spacious and light, all on one level, with excellent furnishings and décor, and plentiful, good quality kitchenware. Basic commodities were also supplied. Any shopping probably needs to be in town – Sainsbury’s or Lidl’s.||||We are a toddler and Mummy, who slept in the large bedroom in comfortable king sized bed and single bed, and Granny who slept in the roomy lounge, in the day bed – so simple to convert, and a really comfortable night’s sleep ! The bathroom and kitchen are beautifully fitted out, and everything is spotlessly clean. ||||Going up a couple of steps from the lounge, the patio doors / front door open onto the small courtyard, which was ideal for our toddler to potter in and out and play safely. Eileen had devised a simple but effective toddler-proof locking system ! There are a couple of chairs for grown-up relaxation … The gate opens straight onto the pavement, right by the pelican crossing (which was very useful, not the beeping nuisance I’d wondered about !), and immediately across this quiet road is the car park – the grassed “overflow” area of the main carpark, and almost empty during our short stay. ||||We hugely enjoyed relaxed starts, with breakfast round the table, and then went off for our day’s adventures ! Folding chairs, sand toys, etc, could all be kept in the car boot, as we passed it on the short walk to the beach !||||For those who need it, the Wifi signal was good, as was CBeebies TV ….||||We would greatly recommend Alan and Eileen’s Racing Greens Beach Apartment – they were genuinely concerned to make our stay as happy as possible, thinking of things which were specifically helpful to US. We had a brilliant time !!

Arriving at Racing Greens was a smooth and welcoming experience. Eileen walked us through the apartment and its facilities, as well as giving us great advice on places to see, eat and enjoy during our stay whilst providing us with a guide map where she marked all of these places.||||The apartment is located a stone throw's from the sea front AND the river front, so it is a fantastic location for families to walk everywhere: fun, shopping and dining all at a few short minutes walk.||||The apartment was full of character, clean and with its own private garden, which was a great bonus. We felt at home straight away and we were able to unpack and enjoy ourselves right from the start.||||We had a great holiday and really appreciate Eileen and Alan's help, particularly when providing us with a parking permit for the car during our stay. As suggested by Eileen and Alan we donated to the RNLI as a thank you for the parking permit which is a fantastic way to support a charity in my opinion!

We just resently stayed at Racing Greens self catering apartment . Liked it very much. Lots of space for the baby to crawl, very nicely done apartment, very clean and spacious, with all the facilities one could ask for. The hosts had been friendly and caring. The location is perfect, right at the sea front. Perfect for families!|

Once again we have returned to Racing Greens. We seem to visit twice a year now. We stayed in the beachfront apartment. As usual, it was presented beautifully. It is so comfortable that we keep on returning. Alan and Eileen are great hosts and now seem like friends we have known forever. Needless to say, we will be returning very soon.

The owners of Racing Green are very hospitable, providing enough information for you to find restaurants and attractions in the area. The B&B is in a very scenic area, near both the coast and the river. The flat was spacious and equipped with all the necessities for cooking, washing etc. The garden was well cared for and the front door easy to access. Overall it was a lovely experience and a very enjoyable family holiday.

We recently had some friends over from Italy, they say their stay at Racing Green was better than many 4 & 5 star hotels, perfect welcome, comfortable beds, quiet rooms, brilliant breakfasts and that welcome bottle of complementary Sherry was the bonus touch. Thank you Alan and Eileen, you really impressed our Guests.

It was a big room, with a nice big bathroom with shower. It was nice and clean. We could make coffee and tea in the room and in addition we had sherry 🙂 The hosts were very helpful and friendly in all ways. ||The breakfast was nice and it was possible to order cooked breakfast and Allans homemade porridge is very worth a try.||The free Wi-Fi in the room did not work very well, but worked in the cosy lounge
