Beautiful, just beautiful! We stayed for 1 night whilst hiking the South Downs Way. It was easy access from the trail and the house and grounds are stunning. The view from our room was amazing. It's so quiet, our room was very comfortable and we had such a peaceful & restful nights sleep. The breakfast was lovely and the dining room was delightful. We arrived on a Saturday night & the pub we could walk to was fully booked and we hadn't thought to make a reservation. Kate jumped into action and managed to get us a reservation, thank you Kate. I loved that we could order a packed lunch to take with us the next day too.

Close to the South Downs Way, we were so happy to stay in this lovely old farmhouse. The walkable pubs/restaurants were closed for the evening and Kate's husband was so very kind to get us to Arundel for dinner in the midst of running his errands. We had an amazingly delicious breakfast in the gorgeous dining room. It was so handy to be able to purchase packed lunches for our next day's hike.

The room was so comfortable and we slept like babies.

Arun Valley B&B: probably my favorite of the trip. A beautiful farmhouse up on the hill with a great view of the valley out in the back. The room was large and they did little things that not every place does. For example there were fresh flowers in the rooms and in the dining room every day. There was ice cold water and cold milk in the rooms every day for tea. And the breakfasts were a couple of the best of the trip. I am glad I took this as a two night stay.

Was re-booked here as original booking in Amberley had a covid event. Could not have been more pleased, as Kate was the consummate hostess, lovely room and great breakfast the next morning. She kindly booked me a seat at George & the Dragon pub for supper, which was excellent. Most happy that the day's walk (21 miles) finished up at the Arun Valley - most highly recommended

This B&B was the highlight of my 9 days walking the South Downs Way. Beautiful period house, lovely friendly welcome. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. Good pub for an evening meal just down the (very busy) road. What more can one need?

We were delighted to be able to book everything for family and guests at a nearby wedding and it must have seemed like a complete 'take-over'. But it really did 'make' the whole weekend and our thanks to all the family for being so considerate and helpful and patient with so many people buzzing around.||The accommodation was just perfect and suited all needs, we felt very cossetted and comfortable in the lovely B&B rooms and had fabulous breakfasts each morning which set us up for the day. ||Enjoyed delicious warm home baked bread, fresh fruit and individually tailored cooked breakfasts. Having proper tea and coffee making facilities in our room was great for a quick night cap after busy days and the biscuits were very thoughtful for the long distance travellers who arrived starving hungry.||We will look for an opportunity to return again to sample this good farmhouse hospitality and thank everyone for making our collective stays so perfect.

We had a brilliant night at this stunning B&B. It's more like a hotel. There is also the bunkhouse if you want to save some money which is also amazing. The host couldn't have been better and even picked our friends up from the railway station. The pubs are close and also very good. I couldn't recommend this B&B more and would like to come here another time with my wife. Many thanks Kate!!
