Had a lovely, cheeky treat today! Great service and food was lovely. My only criticism was a few tables needed clearing but there was 2 pleasant girls on and so no staff to do it!

I am a regular customer (on deliveroo) and have purchased from this cafe 36 times in total, whilst the food is lovely it is often wrong. At least 50% of the time I am sent the wrong sandwich or a cheaper alternative or there is a cake missing. If the items ordered are not in stock, the customer should be advised instead of substituted with cheaper alternatives and sometimes have entire items missing. I will not be a returning customer again, this is the last time. No apology or even additional item added to soften the blow. Such poor service. Avoid using on deliveroo or any food ordering app because you’re not guaranteed the right items (if all) show up. Poor service.

I wasn't expecting such a good flat white in Yate. Thanks to Ara for making it, she was fab.

Seems like a popular spot with a wide spectrum of people: solo laptop workers, book readers, kids and parents, retirees, and other chatting pairs.

A slightly odd building, trying to do interesting and quirky but in a narrow, new-build retail park shed. A good range of different seating options and loads of space on the terrace outside.

Great coffee is what I came for and what I got, and the rest looks good too!

Visited today and the 2 staff were struggling to serve , clean and keep on top , so much so they resorted to takeaway cups for drinks so they didn't have to wash up. They Cherry mocha I received was warm with no cream or sprinkles and my husbands latte was also warm not hot it certainly did not look like the pictures displayed. With 2 sandwiches bought the whole total was £20 which I thought was not particularly good value , dissapointed all round 😒

This coffee shop may be on the small side, it doesn’t disappoint. Every time I come in I get the best service, with the best food & of course the best coffee! Their flat white is absolutely lovely 😊

Esquires is my favourite coffee shop in Yate. They do great gluten free options - Eggs benedict on GF bread, smashed avocados, gluten free biscuits etc. The staff are really knowledgeable on allergens and go above and beyond to accommodate them, especially the younger female member of staff (sorry I can’t remember your name) but you’re amazing.

Me and my Mum always come to Esquires and will carry on doing so, thank you 🫶🏻
