Yate Station is a train station to the west of the town centre. I recommend taking the bus from here to get to Yate or Chipping Sodbury. Trains from here go to Worcester, Gloucester, and Bristol. No CrossCountry services stop here.

Recent upgrades have really improved this station, ticket machine is only on the Bristol bound side so don't get caught out. Direct trains to Bristol and Weymouth south bound. Direct trains to Gloucester, Worcester and Great malvern North bound. Can change at the next station at parkway for pretty much anywhere in the south and London.
