This was one of my worst stays ever and I stay away weekly! I really try not to write reviews if they’re bad but I feel I need to with this! ||My son joined me so I had a booked with breakfast what an absolute mistake! The first room I was given had to be driven to because apparently they don’t have twin beds in the main hotel? when I got there both beds were broken and I mean not a single spring was left in the middle of the bed! I’ve never had such a bad bed! They did give me another room in the same block that was a drive there and back again! The beds were better but still awful! Neither of us got any sleep! ||There was used soap in the bathroom and nothing actually looked cleaned! There’s was also piles and piles of washing outside the room that stunk! Thankfully we ate out in the evening as when we went for breakfast there were ants in the orange juice and all over the table where the juice dispensers were - all the food was totally dried up and had skins all over them where they had been left. Bacon was dried to a bone! ||They only moved the juice when I pointed it out! And just replaced it with jug of juice - didn’t even clean the side! It was like they all couldn’t be bothered to do anything! Everything was too much trouble! I can take things looking tired but I cannot take pure filth! It was so disappointing as the grounds are lovely but I can’t see that lasting long - it’s such a shame because it could be great.

We had a voucher for 2 nights. It was OK for the price but in a few years when the renovations are finished it should be amazing. The house itself is stunning but it needs a lot of work. |Breakfast was very disappointing. Tea and coffee was not served and I overheard another couple being told by a rather grumpy waitress they needed to get one from the machine in the lounge first and bring it with them. The buffet food was also barely warm. It was so disappointing that we didn't even stay for it the second morning.|The room was okay. Bed was comfy but pillows were very hard. Bath needed updating.|The evening meal was in the makeshift restaurant. The menu was very lacking, especially the Indian selection. The naan bread was delicious. The curry was pleasant.|The grounds are stunning.|The bar and lounge area was also open to people who were attending courses/ training I think so the queues for the tea/coffee machine could be long and it was not a relaxing area.

Had a very pleasant stay here with my friend. So reasonably priced and good value. Was lovely to be in the countryside, breakfast was yummy, loved the duck feed at 11am and staff were lovely. Mandy on reception went the extra mile for us and really made us feel special and welcome. Thank you very much we will come again.

This country house hotel is lovely. It is a grade 1 listed building, warm, comfortable, and very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are SO comfortable. The breakfast buffet has plentiful, good quality food. There are deer, ducks and geese on the estate. The ducks are fed daily at 11am, and guests are invited. We are here just for a weekend break, but we would consider having an event here. There are lots of meeting rooms and event spaces here of various sizes. We would definitely stay here again.

I stay at Warbrook regularly on business and cannot fault the place! The building & grounds are absolutely stunning - plenty of car parking and wonderful, attentive and friendly staff. The building is currently undergoing restoration (painting with bedrooms also being redecorated) and it’s going to look amazing when it’s done! The check in staff are always friendly and being a lone female, I order food from the bar on an evening and they ring me when it’s ready for collection. The beds are super comfy with lovely fluffy pillows - my sleep score is off the chart! Great choice at breakfast - hot food served from 7.30am with a choice of cereals, muesli and a range of pastries. The staff really are wonderful - Eva, the breakfast host tickles round making sure everyone has what they need and are well looked after and Mandy on reception is always around on a morning with a cheery smile and good conversation to set you up for the day. If you’re looking for the personal touch and great value - look no further than Warbrook House!

Lovely friendly staff plenty of parking, great grounds . The rooms were a bit dated, so I had to change rooms because the toilet didn't work. Reported it to the receptionist who was quick to give us another room next door but that one the TV wasn't connected. We rang reception and they sent staff up straight away.
The hotel could be a beautiful place but needs a lot of time and money spent on it.

We had a two night stay at the hotel, purchased through Travelzoo. We were pleased we stayed in the main house, as opposed to The Grange, as it is a little walk (or drive) from there to the house for the restaurant and bar. Unfortunately the Clove Canal View Restaurant in the hotel is currently closed for refurbishment which did make breakfast on Saturday morning a little crowded in the smaller room near the bar. Our room was an ok size for a two night break, though it was unfortunate the window didn't open! The staff were all helpful and friendly and Mandy at reception was always great with help and advice.

Impressive driveway, communal rooms in main hotel looked fine.||I was however staying in what they call "The Grange" which is 400m from main house. The room was freezing cold when I arrived - no heating on. The radiator was pathetic to heat such a room and took ages to get luke warm - luckily I found a convector heater in a nearby conference room and used that or I couldn't have stayed. The ground floor room had external external french doors - just beware I went out and on my return I noticed they appeared to be closed but unlocked.||Room was clean, but the carpet was stained and grubby, walking bare foot made me cringe. Curtains looked terrible and about 3ft too long, so they dragged across the floor - not a good look. ||Wouldn't stay again - locally, I can get better for far less money.
