We had a deeply disappointing experience at this hotel. Items were taken from our room, and when we reported this to the staff, we were told we’d have to wait until the morning to speak with a supervisor. Our concerns were completely dismissed.

The missing items were in a bag that was clearly not rubbish. When we asked the staff who had cleaned our room, we were told that no one had—but strangely, our trash had been taken, clean towels were left, and our brand-new belongings had disappeared.

To make matters worse, we later realized that the room doors do not lock properly, raising serious security concerns. On top of that, we discovered that the hotel has no security cameras, making it impossible to track what happened.

Ultimately, we had to involve the police, yet the hotel staff seemed unconcerned. The items went missing on our last night, raising questions about whether they were taken in the hope that we wouldn’t notice or have time to recover them before leaving.

After waiting an hour without any response from staff, one of our group searched around the hotel and, incredibly, found our belongings inside a black trash bag in a random location—just as we had left them.

This experience left us feeling uncomfortable and distrustful of the hotel. Based on our stay, we would not recommend this location.

We stopped here to break a journey up for us. It was a lovely sized room and clean. If you are looking to eat at the Toby Carvery it may be best to book as it was very busy and we couldn’t get a table till late and with a child we decided to get a take away delivered instead. It was a lovely quiet stay! |I have to say the gentleman in charge, Kai went above and beyond to make our stay that little bit special and was very helpful and polite. Thank you Kai

Well everything was very good. All the staffs were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very neat and clean. There was not enough towels in our room. I reported to the reception and they provided it really quickly. So, the service was great. I highly recommend everyone.

First time stay here. Perfect. Loved the family room we were allocated. Used the Toby for breakfast. There is plenty of parking but when Toby is busy I can see why it's suggested it can be limited. We found parking OK . Would use again if available.

Arriving at the hotel for early check in had to call the advertised number for check in but the member of staff very quickly appeared. ||||I was allocated room 109 which faces the rear of the property. No views here but equally no other external noise apart from the gentle hum of the M3 behind the trees but this was not an issue.||||Top Tip - There are no net curtains so if you head to the shower, Close the main curtains first as after my shower I came out to discover the rear area being used for overflow parking with a family just arriving i was glad I had already wrapped the towel around me!||||The room looked as if it had been refurbished recently and was very clean but was a dated room with an old dark wooden headboard, a big dark desk with the TV fixed on a pole and a big dark wardrobe. I'm surprised that none of the old dark furniture had been removed in the refurbishment as it would have given the room an extra lift ||||Bathroom was very a big walk in shower. Tap water pressure was good but not matched in the shower. That said the shower pressure was OK.||||Bed was comfortable and all bedding clean and fresh.||||I wouldn't recommend the grab and go bag breakfast especially as you can get a very decently priced Toby Carvery breakfast next door.||||My only issue was internal noise. I could hear every time one of the room neighbours either side plugged something in or turned on a switch....and other noises! Also the room cleaners, especially on the Tuesday were so loud. One was permanently having loud conversations on her phone so my lie in went out the window. There is a gap around the door so this may be part of the corridor noise issue.||||Overall I would choose the Travelodge again if in the area

I love a Travelodge and haven't had Any issues so far... however, our visit at frimley wasn't a good experience at all. We had to wait for over 15 minutes, twice for someone to come back to reception. First time checking in and second time asking for towels. We ended up having to push our food reservation back because of this. Then when we came back we realized the radiator wasn't working, and again, there was no one at reception. We went to raise our concerns in the morning and reception was closed.
Bed was comfy, bathroom was clean and it's a great location. But the carpet is still filthy and customer service is terrible.

Value for money. Clean, comfy rooms with tea making facilities. A lot of car parking spaces.||Next to a Toby, great breakfast.
