Treated my husband here to a stay as a birthday present. Had Sunday Lunch in the restaurant which, as always, was top notch.....we've eaten here a few times before. Our room was lovely and overlooked a beautiful view of the gardens. Very comfortable and clean and fittings are all high spec as is the whole hotel. Had a fridge and mini bar( which we didn't use) and a safe which is always a sign of a good quality place. Bathroom was very spacious and I enjoyed a wonderful bath in the freestanding bath....didn't leak and gave out both hot and cold water and emptied quickly unlike a few I've used in other properties. Bed was very comfortable to sleep in. Would definitely recommend eating and/or staying here as its a very high quality hotel for a very reasonable price compared to others in the surrounding area. Staff were great and friendly and very obviously trained to a high standard in customer relations. Lovely grounds to enjoy as is the surrounding area being historical as its the oldest part of Plymouth.

I attended a ladies lunch here and had never been before. Lovely building inside and out, beautiful private room . The bar and lounge area was comfortable and the grounds green grass and ancient trees. It will be nice if the viewing platform to the pond is renewed. Oh the food was wonderful.

This is a stunning location in Plympton. I have held 2 of my Ladies Lunch Plymouth events here, and they catered for over 30 women in their gorgeous private room without a hitch. I've also dined numerous times in their restaurant. The fixed menu is top value for money and the food is mouthwatering. It's definitely one to check out.

We had our Christmas meal here last night & it was absolutely delicious, every morsel was cooked superbly & presented beautifully. The staff were so friendly & helpful taking our coats to hang up when we arrived. The hotel itself is beautiful. I went to a wedding here about 10 years ago which was fantastic also. Please do yourself a favour & go here for a meal you won't be dissatisfied in this day & age when we want value for money you definitely get it in St Elizabeth' s House. Thanks for a lovely evening 😊

We had our wedding at St Elizabeth’s house in September 2024 and it was incredible. The staff were fantastic at organising our whole event and everything went smoothly. We had the most perfect day and wouldn’t change a single thing. Becky and the wedding events team were fantastic and so helpful for any questions we had, they sorted any problem that we had on the day with no issues and looked after us from the day we booked to the day itself! 100% would recommend this venue for a wedding, the food was lovely & all staff were amazing. ||We had a marquee set up and the whole set up was exactly how wanted it! ||We will definetly be back for a nights stay in the future! ||Thanks for making our day perfect 🫶🏼

We had a much anticipated family Christmas Lunch. The staff were very polite & helpful, & the setting was very nice. The roast dinners looked lovely, with generous portions, but I was disappointed with both my starter & main, which were small portions, the main with virtually no vegetables. |I think we'll be looking elsewhere for next year!

Usually our favourite treat for our girls group.
Today was awful .. food was undercooked, veg was overbooked and mush, can’t call the spuds roasties as they were boiled with a slight cooked exterior. Gravy ? What gravy .. no flavour even after I added salt and pepper.
I didn’t bother to have sweet but the ladies had what was meant to be sticky toffee pudding, nothing sticky about it more dry hard kind of sponge that was awful again.
When telling the lady we weren’t at all impressed she didn’t seem to care..
Upset as I feel for the not so cheap price I’d rather go elsewhere
