An amazing place to stay. Just returned from a family holiday in The Rookery. Everything you could want with wonderful views of the countryside. The home was excellent in so many ways, exceptionally clean, lovely comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, laundry room, comfortable lounge and a huge social dining table. The on site facilities were great. Loved the animals and we had fun in the Games Cabin as a great selection of games. Lovely well maintained warm swimming pool. Enjoyed it so much we stayed on an extra 2 days. Debbie and Paul were the best hosts. We hope to return later in the year.

We love coming to Compton Pool Farm - its a wonderful escape to the country for the whole family. We have been three times already and are going back again soon!
It has everything we need (and more) such as a pool, tennis court, football pitch, lake, large play area for the kids (and benches for the adults to sit and have a relax), animals and more. The owners are lovely and make us feel very welcome. The only reason we don't go back for more is because its a few hours drive away from us!
Staying in the Farmhouse is especially wonderful with a larger group - it feels very homely but there is plenty of space if you need some time out!

We had a really wonderful time at Ambrook Cottage. |Beautifully decorated for Christmas with lovely gifts for the children too. |Debbie, Paul and Dexter (and Harley too!) are wonderful hosts and their care and dedication to making Compton Pool a fabulous location is evident in all the little touches - including beautifully baked goods to welcome us.|We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and really hope to come back again.

We have just had a lovely, relaxing and enjoyable week at Compton Pool Farm. We stayed in the Ambrook cottage which was gorgeous, well equipped and very clean. We had an amazing stay and even with the October weather we were never short of things to do. The children loved the games room, tennis court and animals, the pool was amazing and unlike many other places, you can use it as much as you want between 7am and 9pm. It was lovely getting used to feeding the pigs and goats every way, and the pigs certainly help you reduce the amount of food waste to put in the bin! You are only a 20 minute drive from Totnes, and 30mins from Dartmouth. There are some lovely pubs serving good food in the area, and a beautiful National Trust property that is a 10 minute walk from the accomodation. The owners Debbie and Paul are lovely, as are all the staff. This is without a doubt one of the best holidays we've had, and without a doubt has the best amenities of any place we've stayed in before. We are definitely going back next year. Thank you Debbie and Paul.

The Aga in the farmhouse is my favourite!|This is our second year visiting as a family of 16 people and we are hoping to be back in 2025!

We had another lovely stay at Compton Pool Farm earlier this month. ||This was our second visit after a wonderful few days here last year. I’m always a little hesitant about returning somewhere for a second time in case it’s not as good as I’d remembered; but I needn’t have worried as it was just as amazing. ||This time we stayed in Kester Cottage - a delightful little cottage with everything we could have needed. The cake left for us was delicious. I particularly liked the secure outside patio area as this was perfect for our dog. He also enjoyed running around the dog field. ||Husband and adult son again enjoyed all the facilities on offer, swimming, tennis, pool and table tennis. ||We have stayed in many cottages over the years but I can honestly say that this takes some beating. The whole place is so well looked after and it’s in an excellent location for exploring Torquay, Brixham and beyond.

We booked because of the facilities and were not disappointed. The cottage was immaculate, well-kept inside and out, homely, beds were comfortable, and kitchen super well-equipped. The games room, pool, tennis court and grounds were all lovely. So much thought has gone into everything to make the stay easy and comfortable. There was good communication beforehand and the owners were very friendly while we were there. It's close to a lot of fun activities and places. Would definitely recommend and we're keen to return
