Perfect place for a one night stopover. Check-in staff were friendly and helpful. Room is small and basic. Most important factor was that the room was clean and we had a good night"s sleep. Rate was very affordable for a sropover while traveling to Cornwall.

Having made the decision to book The Ibis Plympton instead of Premier Inn, I was nervous as my Mum is not easily pleased..
However, we were both very pleasantly surprised by the standard of the room, cleanliness and facilities.
Parking was ample and right outside the room.
Reception staff helpful and polite when we checked in.
The bed was comfy and the room temperature just right.
The tv was large and had Freeview.
The bathroom was modern, new looking and exceptionally clean.
There were multiple teabags, coffee and milk provided.
The first morning we had the buffet breakfast, the usual bacon, scrambled eggs, beans, hash brown, sausage-basic but has everything you would like and the food was cooked very well and was fresh. There was also yoghurt, ham, cheese, toast, jams and spreads -as much as you want+ cereal . Tea, coffee and juices all in with the price as well.
There is also a bar serving alcohol but we didn’t indulge as we were driving here and there.
The location is just off Marsh Mills roundabout so handy for whichever direction you’re travelling in. It’s set back from the road a bit with a huge bank of fir trees so traffic noise wasn’t an issue.
Mum kept on saying how wonderful her stay was so it was definitely a winner in my eyes.
The hotel is also dog-friendly and they can stay for a small fee per night.
We forgot our toothpaste-not a problem, the helpful staff gave us a spare.
We had the lunch the following day, again, limited menu but something for everyone on it. We had jacket potato -really tasty and nicely served.
The staff were excellent.
For the price, you’ll be hard-pushed to find a more satisfying all-rounder of a budget hotel

Went to Plymouth for one night, friends told us about this dog friendly hotel that was a little tired. It has been refurbished and we were very pleasantly surprised. Clean, bright, kettle, hair dryer with a long flex! Restaurant dog friendly, staff... everyone friendly. Parking space right outside our room too.

Great place to rest your head if you're travelling. We stayed one night to break up a long drive for a funeral in Saltash. The room was clean, two twin beds for my mum and I, clean sheets and good pillows. Great temperature as well and good heating options. The toilet seemed as though it didn't flush very well but there were several flush options so may just be us that didn't have the hang of it. A few cobwebs and a bit dusty on the kettle but overall pleased with the cleanliness. We were on the ground floor facing the road, so there was a little road noise but not enough to disturb. There was quite a lot of noise travelling through our room from next door/above, so not particularly sound proof. Not a problem for a one or two night stay but I'd easily get frustrated with it.
The food in the restaurant was excellent, really tasty and fresh, very pleasantly surprised. The staff who checked us in and served us our evening meal were great, really friendly, helpful and personable.
Breakfast was good, a smaller selection than in a premier inn, but for us it was fine.
I would definitely stay here again, for a night or 2.

Stayed here after a hiatus of 5 years due to covid and factors.|Hotel has had a refresh and looks good, restaurant area is smart and inviting.|Cooked breakfast is great, plenty of options and they even offer gluten free and soya milk at no extra cost.|The rooms are smart and well presented, some drawers would be handy, but that’s only gripe I have, shower room is good size and hot water, and rooms are warm even in winter (the in room fan was most useful!)|All staff are friendly but must say Tracie was above and beyond, very friendly and chatty.|Dogs are allowed in rooms and plenty of walks nearby. River Plym behind OceanBMW is lovely.|Plenty of parking and well presented. Will be booking again for next summer.|Hotel located literally off the A38 at Leigham/Estover turn off, and easy to get to anywhere

Rooms clean and tidy, attentive friendly staff. Bit of road noise but generally a good location. Tasty breakfast. Happy customer.

Booked here after a 5 year hiatus due to COVID and things. Hotel has had a refresh and it looks smarter now.
Rooms are still excellent, although very warm even with heating turned off, the fan is much needed at times!
Really good for dogs too, as motel style so no rooms to go by, inner door, then outer door and outside.
All staff really friendly, but must mention Tracie, who was really nice and friendly at breakfast and organised me gluten free sausages, bread and Soya Milk at no extra cost.
Breakfast is good value for money and enjoyed it each morning.
Just off the A38 at Marsh Mills, so easy to get to everywhere.
Whole place is smart, clean and welcoming.

Friendly staff, great free parking area. Reasonable bar area with a standard budget motel food menu. Rooms are clean and comfortable but normal Ibis micro size. The lights blazing on full all night are a downer as the curtains still let it creep through.
