I stayed here for 2 nights with family who had stayed many times before. We booked at the last minute and required 2 rooms, which they couldn’t quite accommodate, but they offered one of our party the 2nd night at alternative accommodation 100yards up the road using a local arrangement thus allowing us to stay. Both rooms at the Fo’c’sle were very comfortable allowing a good nights sleep, and the morning Full English breakfast was excellent. This is served between 8 and 9 but hosts Christine and Ted said they could be flexible if required. I would definitely like to stay here again on my next trip to Salcombe

Excellent Bed & Breakfast, clean, helpful & accommodating. Christine & Ted were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely and had a good spacious en-suite plus a comfortable lounge area. Lovely views due to the position on top of hill which was a little challenging but worth it. Thank you for your hospitality

Had an overnight stay in room No1 which has direct access to the large lounge/dinning room. Fantastic views of the harbour and the countryside. ||The hosts where welcoming and friendly, delicious breakfast and plenty of it. ||The b&b was spotlessly clean and comfortable.||||Will definitely visit again. 👍

We had the room on the top floor which gave us access to the lounge next door and felt quite like a home from home. Very friendly hosts, excellent breakfast, on site parking. Its a short if rather steep walk straight down the hill into Salcombe where there are lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from.

Good little guest house (only 3 rooms so quiet). Room was very clean with everything you'd expect, traditional style. Bathroom was very small but had a good strong shower. A shelf close over the sink made teeth cleaning a bit of a challenge! Good range of options for breakfast, particularly as it's small, and the owners were very accommodating of other needs eg putting our ice block in the freezer for picnics and buying gluten free sausages. Our daughter had a room which wasn't en suite but she had a private bathroom. She also had the benefit of a small conservatory with seating and a fridge which was really useful. Only downside was the very steep hill when walking up from the town.

Very nice, comfortable room with a lovely view of salcombe estuary. Short walk down to town centre. Nice after a long days walk. Bath & shower ensuite....breakfast included.
