10 of us called into the Walkhampton Inn after a walk on the Moor. It was warm and welcoming, with good beers and a good menu. We all ordered a lunch, there was no waiting. Good pub fare, great pies, fish and chips etc. We all enjoyed our meal and I shall be returning.

Great country pub - excellent food menu and drink choices - a proper Dartmoor gem. Homemade pies are highly recommended as are their homemade desserts and ice creams. Good local ales, ciders and spirits. Staff very friendly and helpful, well worth a visit!

We've stayed here a few times whilst house hunting. We book the rooms direct and get a better price. Such a gorgeous traditional pub with friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Love the events too, we went to an 80s night, such fun.

Good, but it could be better.
Stayed the night here. The food was really good but no idea if they have a dessert menu as we weren't offered any and then we were rushed off the table.

The room was good, needed some repairs but is an old building, The mattress was very uncomfortable though.

The breakfast was very good, we were then asked how long we were going to be before we checked out, which seemed a bit odd as it was 9am and checkout was before 11am.

Food was good but definitely room for improvement in other areas.

An absolutely fantastic service. The hospitality was amazing, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was calm and cosy. They're even super respectful of dogs and dog owners. We enjoyed it so much, we're going back for dinner again tomorrow! We can't recommend them highly enough.
