Lorraine and Ian go over and above to make the stay as perfect as possible. Our bedroom was beautifully decorated and equipt with everything needed from good quality toiletries to the things we often forget (razors, nail files etc). Continental breakfast was great, from fruit, to yogurt, cereals and toast with homemade blackberry jam.

We had a lovely night here. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, the room was good, and the continental breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. It’s a nice quiet location with parking. There are a few good pubs and restaurants a short drive away.

We had a wonderful stay with Ian & Lorraine. We were so impressed from the initial booking over the phone until we left to go home. They were incredibly helpful with information throughout our stay and went over and beyond to accommodate us. Ian generously gave us a lift to a nearby wedding venue and Lorraine offered to arrange a taxi service for us at the end of the evening which was one less thing to think about. There was no pressure of payment either as with some other places we have stayed which just made us feel at ease.

Staying at Sherviock Barton B&B was like staying in a characterful home away from home. Comfy beds, delicious breakfast and superb hosts. What more can you want. We can't wait to visit again!!

We can not recommend highly enough!
We stayed for the evening on Saturday for our friends wedding. Booked last minute. Ian and Lorraine such lovely hosts. Ian very kindly drove us to and from our friends wedding venue. Very greatful Ian - Thank you!

The room we had was immaculately clean with everything we needed. Huge choice of continental breakfast.

We will certainly be returning with the children one day to enjoy another stay.

Stunning location and perfect hosts. The room was immaculate with Cornish theme that added a very personal touch. Upgraded to the full Cornish breakfast which was an absolute treat. Ian and Lorraine make you feel very welcome. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you.

Lorraine and Ian are incredible hosts. Our room was stunning it was clean, comfortable and full of character. The bar area was extremely hospitable. Perfect to relax and chat. The full Cornish breakfast was something outstanding. Thank you both. See you again soon.

Lorraine and Ian were amazing hosts and very welcoming. My son and I stayed here on Saturday night following a visit to Plymouth Uni open day. The location and property are both beautiful and the room in the B&B was clean, tidy and comfortable. The breakfast was great and we would definitely stay again and hope to do so in the near future. Lovely place, lovely people. Went out of their way to help us when some of our plans went pear shaped. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for accommodation in the area. Sheviock Barton is only a few miles from HMS Raleigh's main gate, so if you are attending a POP this place is ideally located.
We would 100% stay here again if/when we are in the area. 🙂
