Julie’s catering for our wedding this year was nothing short of exceptional. Her planning, efforts and designing of our food were considered and presented beautifully. She was able to ensure that all 170+ guest had high quality food that suited all dietary requirements. She listened to our aims to combine both Dutch and Cornish heritage and created dishes that matched just that. She listened to our requests and went above and beyond to see that they were achieved. Julie completely understood the stresses we were under and did whatever she could to ensure that the catering wasn’t one of them.

Her presentation of both the Cream Teas and Dutch cakes were a showstopper and she created a centrepiece that wowed the guests. She designed our wedding cheese cake and beautifully decorated it to make it fit for a wedding. We are so grateful to everything Julie did and it was so obvious that she cared not only about our big day but also takes real pride in making sure every aspect of the food was perfect.

I asked Julie if she would cater for a wedding rehearsal dinner occasion for our son Peter and his beautiful bride Evelyn at Polhawn Fort last week. We are a truly international family as there were guests attending from America , New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, England as well as Cornwall. I particularly wanted to showcase a variety of our Cornish foods as I knew that the guests would enjoy that. Julie delighted us with pastys, saffron cake, scones with jam and cream( jam first!) and a wonderful selection of Cornish cheeses made at Upton Cross. Also the table was filled with fresh salads and fruits that made a nice contrast of textures and colours. Julie had hand made lots of the foods, including the classic dips and breads. She even prepared a separate vegan platter for member of the wedding party. This was a lovely surprise as it wasn't requested and illustrates Julie's wonderful eagerness to please and for everyone to have a wonderful time, which we all did of course! Her attention to detail was incredible and the feast looked so amazing that all the guests were bowled over by the presentation.
I especially asked Julie to introduce herself and tell us about the amazing foods which made it very meaningful to the overseas guests who very much appreciated Julie's Cornish style!

Julie has been a regular at my church's events selling her cakes etc. Since then she has catered for various meals that the church has run. We always sell out of places because of the quality of her food and the service she provides. I even arranged for her to make and deliver a birthday cake for my wife whilst I was in hospital, which my wife and son tell me was amazing. Julie made the cake for my daughter's wedding in the summer. Not only did she make the 3 tiered cake, with different flavourings but she also set it up at the venue in Kingsand at no extra cost. It was so tasty and moist and absolutely delicious, thank you Julie.

Highly recommend this incredible woman! Julie catered for my mum and grandads funerals and the food was amazing!! Display and presentation were impeccable.

Julie made my wedding cake with little notice, it smells delicious and am looking forward to the finished cake. She has listened to what decoration for bride and groom theme. I know it will look FAB.If there is no cake left after the reception I hope she will make our Xmas cake. She is Amazing xx
