I never write reviews, however for this business I need to. I have been a customer at this salon for YEARS and I have never had one bad experience. Everyone is lovely and kind and the service I have always received is to the top standard. My nails that I have done regularly are always amazing and I always have compliments about them. Would have liked to have booked a nail appointment here, so I requested some photographs of the senior nail techs work which I think when charging £50+ for acrylic nails this is a basic requirement..

I received an email back a week later, stating they don’t even have 1 photo of her work? How bizarre? “But do let us know if you want to book”

Unfortunately the photos they do have on their fb beauty page are either of apprentices work or photos off of google.

I’ve worked in the beauty industry myself for the past 5 years and that’s long enough to know advertisement is key, perhaps if they advertised effectively for nails they wouldn’t have so much last minute availability left 2 weeks before Christmas.😳

I genuinely never leave reviews, but I've just had the best experience here that I couldn't resist. The lovely Hannah spent a whopping 5 hours fixing the utter disaster that was my hair...I love the colour and cut so much, possibly the happiest I've been after walking out of a salon. Very skilled, professional and friendly. 😊😊😊

Always lovely seeing Jude, even if I only get my hair done twice a year we always have a great chat and she always does a great job with my hair! A massage chair and scalp massage is a big bonus 😍

I had the most lovely experience at Salon Called Fish last week. I made a very last minute appointment with Tam for a wet cut of my mad curly hair. I was looking for a fresh perspective and potential change of style.
I couldn’t be more pleased. I was greeted and offered a drink. Tam was very welcoming and professional. He talked to me easily and listened really well which I value.
The cut itself is fabulous. I really like the shape and style and it’s easy to look after. Tam gave me some good advice for looking after it between cuts as well.
I love it. I’ve already made another appointment 😊

Sadly it's the first time I have ever been let down,booked well in advance for a eyebrow wax and tint for a wedding the next day. I got a call 90 mins before my appointment to be told my patch test needed doing again before I could have my eyebrows tinted so they would be unable to do the tint. I did ask why they had not let me know earlier as I had booked well in advance. Make sure your patch test is up to date when booking. I did have a wonderful hair cut by Yaz in the afternoon.

I recently moved the area and was in desperate need of a hair cut. I booked in with a young gentlemen there I think his name was Tam…he was absolutely fantastic! I’m always nervous when I get my hair done as it’s normally a large period of time from when it was done last but I’m over the moon he was so polite and chatty and really put me at ease. Definitely gained a return customer out of me.
