Went for a Sunday carvery. It was gorgeous.! The meat choice was good. The meat was succulent and plentiful. Had a lovely selection of vegetables and the roast potatoes crispy.|Very good customer service. Lovely little waitress who brought our dessert.|Aĺ in all a great experience. Would recommend. We will go again

On behalf of the Westland classic motorcycle club I booked our annual Christmas carvery which was held in December. The food was excellent the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Steve and his team ensured that everything ran smoothly catering for our group of 34 people with ease. I would thoroughly recommend the halfway house not only for large groups amd carvery but also for the excellent evening menu

Absolutely fantastic, We loved our 2 night stay they went above and beyond for us the food was absolutely amazing very friendly atmosphere and very clean the Beef and Prawn sizzler was so tasty and cooked perfectly, Steve the manager could not fault him lovely,friendly chap who puts his customers first. Thank you for such a great stay!!!

Myself and partner stayed in a dog friendly for just one night.. the room was perfect as we had the dog. The food was great, staff friendly and efficient.
Angie's breakfast the following morning was second to none. I would definitely stay again and definitely recommend.

I really want to say how thankful and grateful I am to Steve and his team for hosting my father's wake after his funeral. Steve took all the stress away and provided a superb buffet to cater for our family and friends. Many commented how lovely the food was. He listened to what we wanted for the function room, everything was ready when we arrived, and we were able to give my dad a wonderful send off without any worries, we will never forget the service you gave, thank you ♥️

Held a funeral wake and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful home cooked food which everyone complemented. Bar staff were friendly and the new manager has completely transformed this beautiful homely establishment. Thanks for making a very hard time so streamlined and easy would definitely be recommending to others.

Staff were amazing but the food was out of this world. Lovely fishing lake out the back and beer garden. Room was clean and tidy with a fridge and nice biscuits. Breakfast was good and plentiful. It has new owners who are very welcoming. I will go back if in the area.

Stayed there for a long weekend as my wife and I attended a reunion in Yeovil. Great place with friendly and helpful staff. Food for the evening meals was excellent and the portions were more than plentyful as was the breakfasts. I had the traditional and my wife had the vegetarian. Our hotel room was spot on, warm and comfortable to sleep in with a en suite with bath and shower. Highly recommend however please be aware it is in Chilthourne and taxis to and from Yeovil where around £25 each way.
