I booked two rooms for a one-night stop-over stay with my son. Keith Tucker and his family were friendly and made us feel at home. A special mention to Keith Tucker who courteously phoned to check on us before our arrival and patiently waited for us as we arrived very late from Wickford Essex due to unavoidable circumstances. Overall a comfortable B&B right for what we needed. I would recommend staying again.

Attic room. This meant the ceiling sloped and you have to be careful not to bang your head. Impossible to sit up in bed for the same reason. Small shower, tiny hand basin. Has the feel of a converted attic. ||Easy to park. Pub in the village is half a mile away so is walkable. Lovely view of surrounding fields from room. ||Very good breakfast with lovely garden views. ||Not the best bedroom facilities but considering it’s about 60% cheaper than other available accommodation nearby, you have to make your own choice. Perhaps you will see it as very good value. ||Great host.

Well. What can I say about this place. So we arrived and showed to our rooms. Lovely views and you can open the roof up. I was greated with a lovely room with everything we need. The next day was our wedding day. We had our breakfast made to order right in front of us. Including continuing. Talk about posh. Off we went for our wedding. When we got back, was greated with a bottle of bubbly and a card from the owners. How dam sweet. On day of leaving, another cooked breakfast and lovely chat and a view of private living quarters. This isn't a normal b and b, we felt well catered for and lovely views, worth all the money you pay. I will visit again. ☺️

The host Keith, was very nice and welcoming. Our room was en suite and on the top floor. We could open the window fully and push out the bottom part, like a mini balcony, really good! The shower was nice. Only down side was the room was small and my partner kept hitting his head as the ceiling was sloped, just like an attic room. There was a tv and a kettle coffee etc. No fridge but that's OK because they can be noisy. The bed was small, i was comfortable my partner wasnt. The pillows were comfy. Breakfast was in Keith's kitchen and it was very nice, cereals, croissant jams and marmalade. Fresh coffee and orange. juice. Keith cooked breakfast, which was nice. Decent sausage and free range egg. The view was lovely, whilst eating, looking at fields and horses. I would go back, but a different room though.

We booked here as looked nice. They messaged directions which was helpful. Keith was friendly and welcoming. You are asked to remove shoes which isn't a problem. We were on top floor, had booked room with a balcony which is a Velux window which folds out to window come balcony so disappointed. Floor was lino so not comfortable under foot. Bed not comfortable. Bathroom pipes on show. Shower so high I could nearly see over top and water wasn't far from light. Shower could do with a good clean and shower pipe really dirty. Whole room not up to standard with cleaning. Views are lovely. Breakfast was shocked as was family table and had to share with another guest, which I found uncomfortable due to anxiety and social shyness. There was tablets and other stuff on worktops. Bathroom sink very small.
If go for a walk take torch as very dark roads and cars come down quick.
I found this place lovely for location. Host is friendly just disappointed with room and facilities.
Very personal opinion.
Located down lane and on outskirts of Yeovil.
Is 45 minutes from Weymouth and 30 minutes from Cerne Giant.

Situated nr Yetminster not far from Yeovil this was quite a find. This very reasonable BnB is part if a working farm with stables all around the main house. Views are stunning and the rooms are clean tidy and beds comfortable. Keith is friendly and accommodating and you get to enjoy the views Sat in the kitchen while he organises a awesome breakfast. Massive corner bath is just across the hall from your room and with only two available rooms this will be a perfect place to visit with a family. Local pubs have a great reputation for dinners and we enjoyed a meal at the Kings Arms. Don't waste time at the standard roadside premier inn or travel lodge book here.

Friendly host and comfortable room. The bathroom was not attached to the room but across the landing. It was still a private bathroom for my room only so not a problem, I just had to make sure I was dressed before I visited it.
Breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked, with plenty of choice.

Lovely little room made special by the balcony window! Made the view very relaxing! Keith's breakfast was generous and made to order!
We are definitely keeping this one on our list! 😁😁😁
