My partner Mike and I have just had a 3 day stay at The Coach House. We loved it! Karen was very welcoming and explained everything. The fridge was well stocked with all we could possibly want for breakfast. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The garden is beautiful and there are lovely views across to Wells, which is a short drive away. This was our first stay at the Coach House and we highly recommend it. Lovely!

What a gem the Coach House is, it was easy to find from the directions given. We were staying for a few days and arrived on the May day bank holiday and it was a scorcher. We were shown where to find things in the house which is tastefully decorated and with all the mod cons you could need, the lounge/dining area is very spacious. The view from the larger bedroom is delightful with Wells Cathedral a short distance away and you look over Karen's lovely garden. Both bedrooms were lovely and there's a spacious bathroom to. We were left a range of things for breakfast, bacon, sausages, eggs, beans, bread, milk, orange juice etc. The kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs. It was lovely to sit at the table having breakfast with the patio doors open and listening to the bird song. We walked into Wells a few times and there is a pathway along the Dulcote road and then another off of the road that takes you on a pleasant walk into Wells arriving just by the Bishops Palace. The Catherdral dominates the landscape and it's beautiful inside to. There are some lovely walks nearby and Wells is a stunning place to visit. We would highly recommend the Coach House, it's a comfortable place to stay and reasonably priced.

We had a wonderful stay at the Coach House. We had a warm welcome from the host, Karen, & were delighted with accommodation & garden. Karen made sure everything was as we wanted & was available to help if needed. The coach house is spacious & charming with spectacular views from the floor to ceiling window in the main bedroom. The property is spacious, beautifully presented & has all one could need while staying. Thank you for a wonderful time. We’ll be back!

This "do it yourself" Bed and Breakfast is cozy, bright, clean, and spacious. You get the whole house to yourself. The gardens surrounding the home are a pure delight. Karen, the owner, is easygoing, friendly and helpful if you have questions about the house or need something special for your stay. The fridge was stocked with high quality breakfast items, and there was a bowl of fresh fruits and eggs on the table. We really love to cook, so it was great to be able to make just what we wanted for our meals. The bedroom upstairs was really spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the bedroom window is stunning. This was our second time visiting Wells and we have many happy memories from our stay in the Coach House.

We had the pleasure of staying at Little Fountains while attending Glastonbury Festival 2022. It was a fantastic place to stay, our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel at home and welcome. it was a lovely experience. The surroundings are beautiful. The whole experience was faultless. I've stayed in this B&B for many years, while attending Glastonbury Festival. It is the most perfect B&B, clean and spacious with beds for 4 and sofa beds. Karen is also the best host, very friendly and always attentive! Only a short walk to Wells and right in the middle of the Somerset countryside, too. Definitely recommend

An exceptional venue with exceptional standards.

I don’t want to over use the word exceptional and take away the meaning but The Coach House B&B really is exceptional.
We booked last minute and from initial enquiry to departure, everything was spot on.
Check in was easy and Karen is lovely; helpful, friendly and very professional but in a relaxed way.
The Coach House had everything we could want; is very spacious, spotlessly clean and has a homely feel. It is honestly the first time we did not need to take anything with us such as an iron or sharp veg knife etc as the kitchen and dining areas are extremely well equipped.
The master bedroom is a joy to sleep in with a super comfortable bed and the bathroom does all it should with good pressure from the shower.
The fridge is stocked with quality breakfast produce and the best thing was; we were able to prepare it ourselves, to our liking, at times suited to us – bliss!
The garden is kind of magical with a huge variety of plants, shrubs etc which also provide a natural privacy from the main house so you have your own private space. We did not experience any undue road noise and had a nice long lie in on one of our days.
WiFi was also very fast so I would not hesitate to stay if in the area on business.
Unfortunately, we only stayed for two nights but would have asked if The Coach House was free for longer if time allowed and we very much hope to return soon.
On a final note: The George Inn is brilliant. We ate there the first night and returned for drinks on the second. Both staff and locals were friendly and we did not feel out of place in this village pub.

we stayed here for four nights after we got married, the coach house is in a very peaceful location but ideal for travelling and sightseeing, we visited wookey hole caves, Wells, Glastonbury and Weymouth.||The coach house is very well equipped with everything that you can think off it has a real home from home feel.||Karen was away when we arrived but we where greeted by Esther who was very helpful and showed us around.||The kitchen is stocked on your arrival with everything that you can think of to make breakfast from cereal and yogurts to ingredients for a full English, even fresh eggs from Karens chickens.||Our 11 year old who was travelling with us loved the place , especially karens dog. ||Our break here was very relaxing and needed after a busy few weeks preparing for our wedding.||We are hoping to return to the coach house in the near future.
