Absolutely fantastic site. Staff were very friendly and super helpful couldn’t do enough for us. The site was lovely and tidy and dog friendly. Although the wheelchair friendly caravan doesn’t accept dogs ☹️we stayed in an extra wide caravan which is dog friendly and used our own ramp and we managed to cope, all facilities inside were great everything was lovely and clean and comfortable, we didn’t want to come home. We could have stayed longer. Our dog loved the site too he made lots of friends with all of the other dogs and the beach is spitting distance from the caravan which is dog friendly from 1st Oct - 30th April. Wonderful beach great for kayaking and fishing. The indoor swimming pool looks fantastic and it had a hoist which Stuart a staff member said would be easy for a disabled person to use and they help you out with this (I wish I’d brought my swimming costume but look forward to trying it out next time).
Restaurant/Bar on site is good although a bit expensive and not very generous - we had a breakfast on the day we were leaving and my friend and I had pancakes and fruit and the fruit consisted of one strawberry cut up in quarters, we kindly asked the chef if we could have some more fruit and he gave us another one strawberry between 2 people cut up if fine quarters and said to us that’s all your getting 😳we were a little put out by how unfriendly he was after such a wonderful week with all the other staff members but you always get one don’t you! It won’t stop us from coming again but we most likely won’t eat there again.
We definitely recommend the site and the location. Beautiful scenery.

We stayed in a lovely caravan at the park in Challaborough, Devon. The views were picturesque and amenities were perfect.|Unfortunately, we had a problem in the caravan with the heating. We informed reception and they sent Terry out who was amazing and we didn't have to wait for long. He didn't just fix the problem, he talked us through what he did and showed us. Nothing was too much. He went above and beyond for us, which was appreciated. Although the sun was shining, heating was needed, especially in the evening. |We will be rebooking a holiday here again in the near future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Parkdean Challaborough. Gill was most welcoming and helpful during our stay and quickly accomodated a small wifi issue. The coastal walks on the door step are a huge bonus. Staff are friendly and the arcade is great fun. The food and drinks were tasty, hot and affordable.||The only negative is that our children were not able to play in the park whilst a NERF activity was on (the group were not using the equipment in the park so would have made more sense to NERF around the green area beside the park than turn young children away wanting to swing/slide).

Caravan: we had a Cormorant caravan for 2 friends and a dog. It’s advertised as 8 berth so for 2 of us it was very spacious, we had bedrooms at opposite ends of the caravan plus a bathroom each. The veranda gave us private outside space too. It was well equipped and good heating for cold March nights. |Site facilities: A fantastic indoor pool and sauna, almost empty on the 3 times we used it. Helpful and friendly pool staff, thank you Dan, Scott and Adam. A wildlife area for dog walking if you want a change from the beach. The site shop has all the basics, you can also get a supermarket delivery to your caravan. We didn’t try the site restaurant/bar but it looked popular.|Location: 2 minutes walk to a quiet and lovely beach, right on the coastal path for longer walks, 20 minutes walk to Bigbury on Sea and Burgh Island. |We will be returning in low season.

Wow. That's as simple as it comes. A special shout out to Abby, Calley, Jaz, Lily, Travis and Georgia, just to name a few of the crew at Challoborough. They were all absolutely amazing, which helped to make our stay a really memorable one. The facilities are exceptionally clean, the site is well looked after, and the bay is a real sun-trap. 👌 Awesome.

Shearwater caravan....
Cooking utensils were limited & pet hair was in a lot of places.
Check-in was simple. Information pack that was given wasn't overly helpful as it didn't say anything at all about what was going on in the entertainment facilities for adults & when i asked the staff all that was said was adult entertainment started at 7pm.
Location was far out of the way of everything (a car is needed for this holiday location) although this was only an issue on the first day due to my own car issues so we were unable to do anything off site due to no public transport. Signal was also horrendous meaning the TV barely worked in the accommodation which was disappointing as it would have been nice to relax with the TV on. The beach was very well kept & clean and it was nice to be able to sit on the beach and be near to the accommodation. The view outside of the accommodation wasn't the best due to the lack of upkeep around/outside of the caravan, which was a shame and let the caravan location down massively as it was just brambles , scattered stones & mud/dirt with broken pieces of fencing.

There is no signs to get you to the site. You have to rely on sat nav. You need to make sure you can revise backwards and up very step hills. The staff are brilliant our toilet broke and they managed to get a man out. I would also recommend you don't have a big car as the car parking spaces are very small. There are too many caravans, close together. They don't have charging points either. The whole place updating.

We pointed out that there was a safety hazard on the campsite to Terry from maintenance. He very impressively attended to this issue and fixed it immediately. We were so pleased because it was such a risk to a child. Thank you so much, this was excellent service
