Came on a family visit for one night. Great price, beautifully clean and fragrant rooms, very comfortable beds and lovely simple, fully functional bathrooms. Nice hand soap and shower gel. Very quiet, decent curtains, tea and coffee etc. Very friendly staff and all went really well. Highly recommended and cooked breakfast in nearby Beefeater was excellent, service kind and courteous.

The staff were so helpful and friendly, I love this Hotel at Ferry Meadows. Really a useful base for exploring Nene Park and the Nene Valley Railway.||Rooms are always of a high quality. the only slight let down was evening meal at Beefeater which arrived cold , but was rectified without issue. This is the first time i have had an issue, so perhaps it was an off day. Overall i would recommend this Premier Inn without Hesitation

Good location. Quiet and clean. Bar was busy and quite noisy when were there but it was a Friday night. Rooms were good and shower was powerful and hot. Good location to do the Ferry Meadow park run. Lots of parking.

Not impressed. Despite being only a one-storey hotel (=2 storey US), there was a lot of creaking as of people walking about from upstairs throughout the night. The food arrangement (there is a Beefeater restaurant next door which is used by the Premier Inn) didn't have the usual range of types of food you would expect with a PI hotel. I ordered steak as it was supposed to be the speciality ('Beefeater") and it was dry and tough. Plus they charge surcharges on all the most expensive dishes on the menu, but (in my case) do not let you know until afterwards that that will be done. Unlike most PIs the breakfast was only partly self-service (the Continental section), cooked breakfast was not self-service. Restaurant service - people were very helpful which partly (but not completely) made up for the poor food.||||I was given a disability suit in the hotel despite not requesting such. I would rather have known they were short of rooms and gone elsewhere - the suite (appropriately for a wheelchair user) had everything (at waist height which would have been great if I was in wheelchair (and great that they provide these for people who require them) and a very low, soft bed, all of which gave me backache. All my clothes dragged on the ground as hooks were so low. ||I would in fact recommend the hotel for it's disability facilities for a wheelchair user (but not the restaurant, which has very heavy doors).||After many years of being quite impressed with Premier Inns throughout the UK I was very disappointed with the Ferry Meadows hotel and would prefer to go to the one in central Peterborough on another occasion.

Lovely stay overnight, room spotless. I might have liked a couple more tea bags and milks but otherwise very good. The receptionist very kindly relocated me to a ground floor room although I hadn’t booked one. The evening meals and breakfasts in the Harvester were excellent.

It was so hit and miss. We had two nice interactions with reception, a lovely man when we first checked in, and then a nice lady the night before we left, and one nice lady in the restaurant for breakfast, but everyone else was miserable. In 4 days we only asked for our room to be cleaned once, and got back to discover it hadn’t been done. The fact that hot breakfasts had to be ordered was very frustrating and made it so much less enjoyable, and the continental breakfast was stale, and missing so many items (no croissants, no flavoured yogurts, limited fruit and juices). Other than that it was a fairly standard Premier Inn stay, but it was just disappointing in comparison to Salisbury which was outstanding.

Wonderful staff, couldn’t do enough. Management were organised and offered a range of services, ie restaurant. Rooms were lovely and clean, comfortable beds and plenty of extras if we needed it, towels, sheets, pillows etc. no complaints and would stay here again!
