Fields End Lodges - March

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Fields End Lodge this week! The lodge itself was incredible, with everything we could possibly need—from a cozy blanket to a fan. The added bonuses of the hot tub and log burner made our stay even more special, adding the perfect touch of relaxation and comfort.

The bed was super comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and our hosts were so lovely and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The fishing was awesome, and it was such a peaceful and enjoyable experience.

We truly can’t wait to come back—thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Accommodation was excellent, very quiet and relaxing, chose this for dog walks on the doorstep and a field to let them loose for ten minutes a day.
Well equipped kitchen for cooking nice dinners and comfortable beds and all mod cons. Thank you.
The only issue we had, we met a lady and man with a Spaniel. She came up to the gate of the dog field and said we want to come in their! I said we were just putting dogs back on leads and vacating the field so not a problem. There is a clear notice on the gate to say if you have dogs not easily sociable to let them off lead exercise here only, which I thought was great. In the next breath the man opened the gate, nearly letting my dogs out and they both came in the field with the dog. Thankfully mine just barked a couple of times then followed the other dog all wagging tails.
My sister and I were taken aback by this as one of my dogs is very nervous after having been attacked by other dogs when he was a puppy. Everything was fine until they decided to throw a ball for the Spaniel, next thing there was lots of teeth and fur flying as I’m guessing this was due to the fact that Spaniels are very ball orientated and my dog was nearby but didn’t want the ball was just in the wrong place. We collected my dogs and left. So thank you for the notice on the gate which was very clear but wasn’t read by other owners and could have ended up much worse.
Wondered if you could put a combination lock on the gate for dog owners with nervous dogs as I couldn’t get to the gate to stop him entering. Other than that an excellent stay and a big thank you for the Fenland skies.

Excellent lodge and hot tub and a great addition having the private grassed area for our dog. Everything spotlessly clean and all decor high quality. A lovely peaceful setting for a relaxing break. Will definitely be back.

Another wonderful stay at Fields End Lodges. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The lodges are very clean and you are provided with everything you need for your stay.
The highlight for us is the hot tub, it’s fabulous!!! Cannot praise this place high enough, we love it and will be back again next year.

A really lovely base for our holiday. The lodge was clean, cosy and well furnished with all of the essentials we needed for our stay and the hot tub made for a really relaxing treat. Owners are lovely and polite! Will definitely be back.

From the moment we booked we felt we were being looked after and this continued on our arrival. Amanda and John are wonderful hosts. Badger Set the lodge we stayed in is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and had everything you would need right down to a dishwasher. Plenty of storage in the kitchen for your own food etc. Big wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and they also offer a mop, hoover, fan, iron and ironing board. The walk in shower is amazing. Lovely deck area to sit out with and cushions are provided for the outdoor seats, as for the hot tub well its fabulous. The lodges are set to the side of the campsite which is a separate business. All very peaceful and being adults only is even better. A very relaxing break. Can highly recommend. Good view for sun rises and sun sets.

Fantastic accommodation. Very comfortable bed and great shower. Everything was to such a high spec. We love to cook and the lodge had everything we needed for this. Sitting in the hot tub was amazing due to the beautiful surroundings, the peace and quiet was such a lovely thing to experience.
I would recommend the lodges to anyone and we will definitely be back.

Absolutely perfect from booking to the end of the stay.
The lodge (Rabbit Burrow) was spacious and clean (very clean), all the appliances are great quality, sometimes places can go cheap on this sort of thing but it was good quality equipment. It was a brilliant place and perfect for us and our two dogs. Quiet, perfectly dark at night enabling a great view of the stars on clear night.
The ladies that we met on arrival and in the shop were really friendly and welcoming.
The villages nearby are handy with a little shop and a couple of pubs. We used the Anchor Inn, again friendly staff in there. The Three Tuns looked nice but had a ‘no dogs’ sign up, missing a trick there methinks.
All in all a perfect stay.
We’ll definitely be back……oh I almost forgot the hot tub! A great touch and a marvellous way to end the day with a glass or two of bubbly 🍾
