As soon as we arrived at The Nest Glamping site, I was already thinking about returning the following year.

Secluded next to a beautiful lake, everything was perfect for a family getaway. We were so impressed with the quality of everything, from the giant wheelbarrows to the wood-fired hot tub. Thank you so much to Emma who ensured we had everything in the tent for our little one soon after we arrived.

We’d highly recommend hiring out the pizza oven. This was a great way to spend an evening. Eating delicious pizzas on the deck watching the sunset over the lake.

Thank you so much for the wonderful, and much needed time away. Our only regret is not booking for longer, as there was so much more to discover. We’ll be back, and probably with some friends in the future!

We've just got back from our 3rd stay at The Nest and it never disappoints.
We stayed in Teal this time but normally we book the cookoo.
We can't decide which one we prefer best but both the views from the patio are just perfect for watching the sun set with a glass or two of wine or even better taking some camping chairs near the lake and soaking in the piece and quite.
We also loved the hammock in the trees this year and always enjoy walking around the lake, catching up and soaking in the fresh air.
We love spending time away as a family there and have made some lovely memories, we always come away feeling relaxed and not wanting to come home.
We take the dogs with us who love swimming in the lake, then they curl up in front of the log fire at night and even have their own pamper with the shampoo that's left for them. We treated ourselves this year to a facial which is provided by a lovely lady and can honestly say its one of the best for relaxing.
The owners Emma and Archie have got it just right at The Nest, they think of everything you'll ever need and we will definitely be back next year.

Just back from 4 nights glamping in the peaceful setting of the nest (nr. Stamford). Well equipped, comfortable Safari tents in peaceful surroundings equipment with plenty of blankets and hot water bottles to deal with the April overnight chill. Very relaxing spot to unplug and spend time with the family, sheep, birds and wide open skies. Vegan lasagne the hosts prepared for the first night was great too! Brilliant holiday!

This place is beautiful!! Went for the weekend for a friends birthday and couldnt have asked for a nicer place to stay. The view from the tent was stunning, it was peaceful as only 3 tents on site so now crowds of people. The lake is lovely and clear with boats you can hop into anytime you like. Will definatly be back. Make sure you visit the Millstone pub. The food and sevice was fantastic.

We had a fantastic weekend break at the Nest. The cabin/ tent was spacious and well equipped with all conveniences. The setting by the lake is idyllic and local villages and towns great for pubs and restaurants. The hottub is also a great all-weather addition!

We had a wonderful stay at the Nest over Easter weekend. Our kids absolutely loved the hideaway bunk bed and canoeing on the lake. The location was perfect for us to explore the local area. The beds were extremely comfy and warm despite it being very, very cold. The Nest had some lovely little touches for the kids which entertained them a bit whilst we got to put our feet up and relax. The accommodation had everything we needed to cook, bbq etc. The bath was heavenly looking out over the lake.

We had such an incredible time staying at the Nest! The tents are so well thought out with every comfort you could want, but still having rustic charm of the woods, lake and camping! We never ran out of things to do, and ended each day with a wonderful night sleep on comfy warm beds. Can’t wait to come back

We had a magical holiday at The Nest. Emma was very helpful in the lead up to our stay and everything was perfect on arrival, the cabins are beautifully set up with thoughtful touches. We hired all three so had the site and lake all to ourselves, and we loved using the camp fire and pizza oven. There was lots to do in the local area too. We loved the Nest and we'll definitely be back!
